I have scanned the forums and found a lot of useful info but nothing that addresses my main issue with the X56 and Warthunder. I hope someone will have an idea…
So, I recently bought the X56 and also the rudder pedals so all axis are covered. I can fly and setup just fine so no issues there. The problem I am having is once you get into a furball or following another plane, the small corrections are extremely overcorrected. So say the reticle is 1 circle ahead of the predicted point of aim. When I attempt to make that minor correction, its done in extremes.
Guess question is, how or where to set the axis to be mirrored to the amount of movement, i.e tiny movement equals tiny adjustments??? I thought it might be the curve profile but that doesnt seem to help. Maybe its just me and not having the muscle memory but holy crap it is the most infuriating thing ever.
Hope that makes sense. Everything is good to go but I just cannot get this set right.
Do you use the X-56 saitek/logitech software ?
If yes, that might be the issue, most pilot software from Saitek have been kept by logitech when they bought the company, but they just changed the brand name, the software on itself didn’t change since windows XP.
I personally use the X-52 Pro, and appart for disabling some “features” like virtual mouse and a hazardous button, i ditched it by using only warthunder controls customization.
If you use WT controls, however, i’d advise you to use “sensitivity” of yaw axis, which “soften” your axis input over time, the higher it is, the more direct your input will be taken in account in the game.
