What is the difference?
Additional mounts for rockets, the possibility of using FFAR Mighty Mouse rocket launchers. It is possible to carry unguided rockets and bombs or AIM-9/AAM-1 rockets at the same time.

Sweden still lacks its own domestic M42 Duster with APDS lol, Just L/60s so fire-power would be comparable to the Lvkv 42 just on a arguebly better platform and better crew protection
The De Havilland D.H.115 Vampire T.55 would be perfect in game for Japan. Her rockets would rip tanks open
With infantry we could see it in game. A mobile MG box would work.
I was shocked this was not in the base tree. Though she would be more anti tank then anti air in game.
Navy AT No.2 Airship With 75mm cannon. Japanese navy - trust us it makes sense
I noticed that a lot of nations that operated the Sabre typically give them MLU packages that give them additional ground attack ordinances and/or better missiles. Spain did this to their C.5 (Spanish designation of the Sabre) by giving them Hispano Suiza rockets & rocketpods. Portugal did the same but with Matra rockets. Argentina did something similar to Japan but with Shafrir 2’s and domestic rocketpods. Korea gave their Sabres AIM-9P’s. Italy used their Cl-13’s to test the Sispre C-7 AAM. The list goes on
Would Gaijin implement these changes if these late modified Sabres are added? probably not but it’s worth noting
Sispre could be added to other Italian planes as well
Would be a nice unique feature for the tech tree in general. It’s always interesting to find weapon systems which you won’t meet in other tech trees, for Italy for example such systems would be Sispre missiles, Folgore recoilless rifles (R3, F333E), Motorbomba FFF (SM.79, SM.82, SM.84, SM.91, Z.1007), Medusa rockets for helicopters.
Although Motorbomba can be also added for some German planes iirc.
P-61B-2 or P-61B-10 for researchable tree ?
The early american night fighter ?
F-80 Twin Mustang night fighter version
A-26C-55-DT ?
From Royal Canadian Navy
But I guess might be domestic USN F2H-3 for event vehicle rank V
Mixed-propulsion bomber aircraft ?
Armed the early air-to-air missiles
Slightly better Sea Venom FAW 20, maybe
SNCASE (Sud-Est) license-built Sea Venom FAW.20 for the French Navy
license-built de Havilland Vampire ?
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Hawker Fury FB.60 ?
P-61B-2 or P-61B-10 for researchable tree ?
Basically yeah. I know that the B models either have only have the dual .50cal turrets or no turrets at all
P-70, The early american night fighter ?
Yes the night fighter built on the chassis of the A-20 Havoc’s
A-26C-55-DT
That one but also I would also like the B-26K, and Invaders getting not only expanded weapon loadout options but also customizable weapon loadouts
Mixed-propulsion bomber aircraft
Yes, also it has no guns so it would function very similarly to the Bomber Mossie
SNCASE Mistral, license-built de Havilland Vampire
Yes, also with different secondary loadouts
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Hawker Fury FB.60
That’s indeed the variant that the PAF operated. I think there’s another variant that could be added but I need to check on that to confirm that
This is my last officially written suggestion. I’m resigning from writing suggestions due to the Gajin policy that has been brought up in this thread. (Yes, I forgot to put this here earlier.)
Gaijin adds 3 unique vehicles to Japan air… and negative speculation?
Also you’re no longer making suggestions because of what reason?
Gaijin’s continuing to develop WW2 vehicles, so that can’t be the reason.
What? The last Japanese plane was the premium B7A2 Battlepass, and the tank was the Ka-Chi event. I don’t recall any pre-1945 Japanese planes or tanks in 2025.
Japanese? Maybe not.
Ships? A lot of.
And 2025 had far more WW2 additions in general to War Thunder not counting ships than 2024, and counting ships probably more.
Gaijin stated they’re going to continue adding WW2 vehicles to the game.
