If we say only 1939 - 1945 production vehicles are WW2 era, then RIP France ground.
There’s a reason people tend to agree that vehicles serviced and designed in WW2 encompass the WW2 era of vehicles.
This ends up including weapons designed for WW2 made after the war, and interwar vehicles produced before the war.
It’s however the most fair, as it involves no double standards.

Its sort of a development arc some projects started lets say 1943 never finished until 1948. so in theory its a WW2 era vehicle.

I conducted a study and the last Japanese vehicles of WWII for the Tech Tree were the Mitsubishi A6M5 Hei and the Ro-Go Exp., which appeared in the Update 2.5 “Ixwa Strike” on March 10, 2021. That was 1,776 days ago. Is that considered too short a time by Gaijin to wait for a new vehicle? Do we have to wait 2,000 days, 3,000 days, or maybe 5,000 days? (I’m not counting the M36, because although they are WWII vehicles, for Japan their history only begins in the years after 1954. If you count the M36, which was added on June 15, 2022, in Update 2.17 “Danger Zone,” then the last Japanese WWII ground vehicle was added 1,314 days ago).
For me, it’s a good argument that Gaijin glossed over the World War II era, especially for some countries.

What? I haven’t heard about the Ho-Ni II leaking. I know there was a 2026 sticker with a hummel, Takao, Italian howitzer, and something.
Forgive me I miss remembered a EuropeanCanadian video unless I can’t find it.
Aren’t these kinds of films made based on guesswork? For example, they’re adding Hummel, so they’ll probably add his counterparts like the Priest, Ho-Ni II, and something for France and the USSR.

The Ho-To is a Type 5, not a Type 4. Japan still doesn’t have its own tanks from World War II. For example, the Type 94 TK with a 37mm gun, the Type 97 Te-Ke, the Type 95 Ha-Go with a flamethrower, the Type 1 Ho-I, the Type 2 Ho-I with a 57mm gun, the Chi-To with a 57mm gun, the Chi-Ha with a 200mm gun, and many others.
I shure hope they also directly add Wespe.
Yes, the original indigenous vehicles are very cool. Grille, Wasp, Hummel, M7, M40, T92, Ho-Ni II, Ho-To, Chi-Ha 200mm, Su-5 would be great additions.
