Disable audio enhancements on windows

I’ve had that happen multiple times. All of them due to a mismatch between the in-game audio settings (mono/stereo/5.1/7.1) and the windows surround sound setting or my audio software’s surround sound setting.

Try changing the windows spatial audio (if you have that option available) to the opposite of what it’s currently set to to see if that helps.
