No.
No? What
No to an RU 2A4.
Oh, it’s in service with those guys so I don’t see why not. It’s fair game as a Trophy vehicle, same with the Bradley.
“Service”, lol (the moment it breaks down it’s GG). It’s a trophy that will be dismantled in the same manner the 2A6 has been, but hey, if we wanna talk about trophy vehicles;
- US/GER Pantsir when?
- UK/GER T-80U when? (they bought 'em)
It’s actually being used unlike those other examples you mentioned. 😆
Ah, so a trophy is only fine when it’s “used” (ignoring how them driving around in it doesn’t mean it’s “in service”, cause then Germany’s claim to the T-80U is just as good, since their T-80U has been tested by a WTD unit).
You could also say this about the Trophy T-90A the U.S. is supposed to get so.
But have they got it? No. Then it’s a moot point.
Okay, let the Germans have it, nobody is talking about a German T-80U. Doesn’t exist, however the Russian Leopard 2A4 does 😎
Sure, throw in a Pantsir as well for the US and Germany, additional compensation for the Brads, M1s and the 2A4 ;)
Definitely
Unlikely to happen though, existing operational trophy’s are though.
Gaijin leaked the T-90A Trophy not long ago in their custom sights video. Can’t wait for that can of worms haha
Also on the topic of that “in service” 2A4, afaik they just managed to find one that wasn’t previously damaged in the field (like most other captured AFVs) and simply drove off in it, as there hasn’t been an actual announcement that it’s been “put into service”, since chances are the AFRF higher ups will come and collect it for field trials or already have (those vids are usually days to weeks old in all fairness).
Nice, would love to see it.
Chances of that happening are slim, just like chances of other ‘captured’ AFVs. Gaijin could always go gung ho and start handing out trophies right and left (whole of Europe would be full of T-72B3Ms and BVMs, even if they weren’t exactly delivered in one piece :"D).
Probably, but if the T-90A Trophy does end up making an appearance, it should be considered. Just so that we know they’re fine with it :)
Well, perhaps, but then we want our T-80U that Germany (probably) paid for (or stole).
:P
