Yea, that’s the VT-ETB 2. The 2A4-based one is the VT-ETB, a prototype built on KMW’s intiative. Then there was another prototype made by Rheinmetall.
So who ordered the 2 version since the german government didn’t.
Okay so, the VT-ETB (2A4 with Trophy) was a private KMW project to integrate Trophy on the Leo 2. Then there was another prototype built by Rheinmetall.
The VT-ETB 2 is the 2A7 hull with a 2A6A3 turret and Trophy, ordered by the government.

How will this solve Germany’s SPAA problem at top tier? This thing, like the other ADATS vehicles in game, will at best be a sidegrade to the FlaRakRad.
It’s still better than the FlaRakRad imo. The missile is more responsive and you get instantly 8 of them (if they would implement individual reloading it would be a different story). Also a faster vehicle would really help imo to get away from the spawn and go closer to the front line or in good positions on some maps.

I have the opposite experience. The MIM146 are slightly slower, have less range and become less responsive quicker. The only advantage they have is being smokeless iirc.
Besides that the radar on the adats vehicles is a lot more annoying to deal with than the FlaRakRad. You can’t third person lock with the adats radar, meaning you have to get into your gunner view to use the good old eyeballs to find your target before being able to lock them.
The mobility is a decent point.

I don’t think anyone has posted this before but I found a Swiss Piranha 8x8 fitted with the Blazer 30 turret.
It has the 30mm GAU-13 with 500 ready rounds and 4 Blowpipe missiles with a range of 3,5km and a 2,2kg warhead it’s a MCLOS missile or Javelin missiles with a range of 5,5km and a 2,74kg warhead it’s a SACLOS missile. Also a 7,62 MG.
Would be a great addition at 9.7 or 10.0.

I am very sure Switzerland never used this in service. Looks like a demonstrator.
