It’s just … unplayable, plus auto-join doesn’t let you choose to enter the match or not

Clouds shouldn’t completely obscure the ground, and especially not the runway/ground targets.
If gaijin refuses to give us the devices and tech to help us do that, then Gaijin shouldn’t force us to fly blind at low alts.

First screen shot is the runway and well, you know, it’s kinda hard to land flying higher

There is a balance that needs to be struck, Especially without things like Ground mapping radar or Terrain following radar. Low level clouds can be really annoying and especially in a gamemode like SIm, where you get part of your reward from succesfully landing after a sortie. Being able to see the runway is kinda a necessity. Landing in clouds is a pain in the butt
But i also doubt that low level fog like that should be a solid wall.
Havn’t had the displeasure of clouds this low in a prop battle (I assume this is afganisthan), but early-mid WW2 instrumentation is also nowhere sufficient for take off and landing in such weather either. Maybe even late, given how the allies abused the movement of clouds to interfere with luftwaffe interception of their bomber formations and those clouds weren’t even that low.
I did have the displeasure though of trying to have a good fight on the Kursk map in my bf109 and the cloud cover was so thick, you could not find enemies. If enemies were under the cloud cover, you couldn’t fight vertically as you just slammed into the solid black void at as low as like 0.8km and the black wall persisted to about 2.5 km.
This also meant aircraft could just camp inside said black void to prevent air superiority captures with no way of finding and shooting them down.
This is not to say clouds are bad.
Solid, continous impenetrable cloud cover is bad.
Cloud cover like this - small groups that offer a fun environment with frequent breaks and empty spaces in between to prevent sitting in them - is fun.

(entire map looked like this without any break in cloud cover meaning the Ju-288 could take off to 1.2 km, sit in the cloud until they hit runways, drop bombs blind and suicide without interference)

Is the match time tied to real life time?
A significant portion of my matches playing on EU servers as an eastern european at 21-01 time window are… evening matches. I dislike evening matches as I can barely see anything with my graphical settings on maps other than tunisia.

Landing with this clouds on a plane with no damping would be a real pain
