Why zerstorer and leopard 40/70 are at the same BR?

20mm German and Italian AP should have similar weigh and ballistics.
But somehow the Italian one is far superior.

Leopard 40/70 is undertiered. But the usual excuses come out to defend it.

What BR do u want it at

Well, I hit from noticeably further and with leas lead when using M42.
You can even check ballistics in game via the compare shell feature. M42 API goes way further at the same angle.
Why? Because once again, German guns get super bad ballistic coefficients or real life ballistic coefficients, while everyone else gets pure fantasy BCs that are way superior.

This is why we can’t have nice things:

Because Gaijin only fixed issues when it’s written somewhere but they can pull numbers out of nowhere, even when they defy all logic.

You can literally put these 13.2mm side by side and they would look and weigh the same.

What an absolute joke.

They pull numbers out of their butt, and you can’t even undermine it in any way than via documents, even if their numbers defy logic and physics.
This is exactly like modern social media moderation.
If you write an extremely bad insult (racist, misoginist, whatetever) using normal words, preferably non-directly (but the intent and meaning is obvious) - that’s fine.
If you respond with a “bad word” you get banned because “the rules”.

My point is - there’s 0 thinking and intellect involved in moderation. And neither there is in Gaijin handling of vehicles/armanent. Just simple “no sauce, kthxbye”. And if you give them source, they may very well misinterpret it (like with the 50mm tracer) and then never fix it, because “no sauce, you can’t prove Me-262A1/U4 did not use exclusively non-tracer rounds, maybe Germans wanted the aiming to be impossible, who knows, kthxbye”.

Any logic/general science based bug report would require some basic logical thinking and knowledge from.people responsible. And we can’t expect anyone to do the abhorrent act of using brain. That’s the world we live in today.

Higher than 6.0 at least. It has a pretty modern Bofor, it works quite well against both ground and air and is okayish protected. I might be wrong, but doesn’t it survive 50cal, or is the armor too thin?

it isnt good Spaa, just good psuedo light tank, its also not protected at all if you actually shoot where you should

They are the same br because leopard 40/70 is not that good as an AA, because it is hard to hit people with the slow fire rate while zestorer has 4 faster firing guns, it is meant as AA not tank destroyer.

For reference the first two are from the M42

It absolutely is a good SPAA. At least as good as the Zerstörer. It literally has high velocity Bofors, making hitting things much more easy. Seriously you are saying an SPAA better by virtually every metric. From protection to speed to pen is somehow worse. What?`

@Nowel_ It’s weird, isn’t it? They literally artificially nerfed them, for no reason whatsoever.

Amusing that you guys think a leopard 40/70 has ever shot at a plane in its entire existence. I have always seen it used as a light tank, flanking. It will smoke lots of stuff at that br from the front as well.

I don’t have that specific vehicle but I’ve used the 240 rpm bofors with over 1000m/s velocity to shoot down planes rather easily, the only problem was ammo but they added the ability to reload now

People use it that way because it’s good for it, not because it’s bad as an SPAA. This is NOT an argument for it needing the current BR or against it going up.

Thanks, though I meant belts with HVAP, ballistic should be different for API shells too, since in the game the entire belt is using the muzzle velocity of the first shell - 1150 m/s and not the one which AP shells should actually have.

Because one is good at taking down plane and the other is good at killing tanks

Both completly different vehicles with different playstyle despite being the same class
