Why US stuck in 1995?

perfectly fine in air RB considering the massively undertiered AIM-9Ms

Its at the exact same BR as the Su-25s with R-73s. So I dont see the problem. Especially as, from what i’ve heard from people who have actually flown it. Quite often the matches end before the A-10Cs have even seen the enemy, let alone fired either A2A or A2G. The promised airspawn/foward spawns for the A-10, SU-25, AMX, etc never Materialized.

Aim-9Ms loose their main advnatage in ARB as the gamemode has markers and the IRCCM is arguably easier to defeat than that on the R-73 or Magic II (both of which can be found at 11.3)

Let’s give a round of applause for one of the 6 British players in the game!!

Honestly laughable seeing how even the Kurnass 2000 had an effort to… Butcher its IRL HUD.
At least it gets a hud…

They’re all unbelievably gimped. One chaff release from 20km away can set of MAWS.

B-but… F-15 bad…

Brag if you’d like, but I’m not winning shit with the smoothest taste you’ll ever have in my hand.

Yeah… Real shame is that I know quite a few guys that would play Britian in Sim, but there are old issues holding them back. Like Sea Harrier HUDs. On the surface, not a major issue, but really annoying problem that really should have been sorted by now.

I’d grind the hell out of britain if there was more to it than crappy phantom / harrier.

The GR.7 is quite literally everything the AV-8B+ is (already have both) but worse.
The JAS39C is… Well, a JAS39C. I didn’t grind to the top of the Italian TT just to try and get the same aircraft in Britain.
Tornado F.3 would honestly be pretty cool. Got a Kuwait flag with it on there, but that’s a little more overshadowed by the best aircraft in the world.

IMHO the only aircraft worth its weight in the British tree is the MiG-21 Bison… It’s a premium. Honestly, it’s an amazing aircraft… Why premium??

Meanwhile the BISON is an aircraft I would gladly see burn in the fires of hell. Dozens of aircraft would have been better from the RAF Harrier Gr5 to the SAAF Cheetah D

But yes and no on the rest.

Gr7 is pretty badly gimped at the moment, and really should never have gotten Aim-9Ms. Was a lot better at the lower BR with the 9Ls (basically what hte AV-8B(NA) is now)

Torando Gr1 is good if you like base bombing, but it is over BRed at the moment and missing a LOT

F3, is pretty good at 12.0 in the downtier brackets.

Sea Harriers should be really fun, but massively gimped.

Future additions though are where Britian gets really fun. LIke the Tornado Gr4 with Brimstones or the Harrier Gr9A with HMS, better engine and Brimstones. The Hawks should be really fun if they arent at stupid BRs. Typhoon of course will be fun.

Even some oldies but goodies, like the Sea-Vixen FAW1, (Sea-vixen with 30mm ADENs), the Gnat or something like the Vulcan. All should be really good and good fun.

Just… Make an Indian tree. They have MORE than enough modern equipment to make a tree to the degree of Japan.

Nuh uh!

This is essentially the only British thing I look forward to.

Would be better. I fear the day where we get something like a C&P Mig-29 in the TT instead of literally any of the outstanding native stuff.

I mean… Modern MiG-29s under India’s service would be insanely good. To the level of the SMT with better weaponry.

From what I know about the Mig-29K. it would be 100% identical to the 12.7 Mig-29s in game right now on the Soviet and German TTs. There would be no differences at all.

Even for the “better” Mig-29, just no, please no. Give it to the Soviets. When things like the Typhoon exist, why do we want something worse.

It’d run the RD-33MK which is the navalized RD-33 that would later become the primary RD-33 engine for all future Mig-29 variants.
But yeah, it’s “effectively” a 9.13 with better engines.
Could be added at any time, same with Mig-29M and Mig-35 since all their equivalents are in War Thunder now.

That only works if you know where to go in the first place.

MiG-29K would have better engines, the N010M[E], standoff A-G weaponry, a tgp, so on.
It’s nowhere near identical xD

Quite literally just a MiG-29M if we look at the 9-31 variant, or a VERY lightweight 9-41 that’s effectively the same thing.

Soviets could get the 9-41 or 9-47, whichever comes first doesn’t really matter as they’re effectively the same.
Gaijin has added the 16D-40 before the 16C-40, so I don’t see why the same wouldn’t happen to the MiG-29.

Still the point stands. I didnt grind out the British Tech tree for soviet aircraft.

If you want Mig-29s then grind Soviets, Germany or China

If you want Tornados, Harrier, Jaguars, Hawks, Typhoon, etc. Grind Britain.

The RD-33M was the primary engine for MiG-29s, the RD-33MK was developed off of it afterwards.

Not at all. It gets the same N010M as the 9-19… As the MiG-29K 9-31 was built directly off of the MiG-29M 9-15. It’s quite literally a better MiG-29SMT, as the MiG-29SMT we have in-game was a modernized variant of the MiG-29 9-13, whereas the MiG-29K 9-31 was built directly off of the MiG-29M.

It would be stupid as hell to put further Indian aircraft in the British tree. I’m entirely against Indian vehicles there in the first place, as it restricts a large majority of unique vehicles to British event vehicles / premiums… Take the T-90S and MiG-21 Bison for example, I’m not paying crap for those vehicles when they’re some of the most iconic Indian vehicles.

Indian tree when?

Yes, I agree. From what I know. There is enough to make a pretty decent tree on its own and Britain just doesnt need it. Im hoping that India in the British TT is just a step stone for that, like how Israel was in the US and Italy was in Germany

Both shouldnt have been added as they are.

their main advantage are being cracked ass IRCCM missiles with outstanding overall stats.
