Why US stuck in 1995?

Don’t all of them have the ability to fire aim9x?

SLAMRAAM can be fired in boresight visual mode where it doesn’t need an extrnal radar where it instead uses the missiles internal radar to lock onto the first object it sees.

Well it’s really not that difficult because ground search and air search radar is can detect the stealth aircraft from significant distances

lol.

Sometimes, under some circumstances, some radars can detect them at extended ranges.

It can also send you on a wild goose chase, and is far from the sure thing you’re making it out to be.

Just ignore him. He doesn’t wanna know how to counter the Aim-9M, he just wants to cry “Aim-9M OP!!!” and hope Gajin solves his skill issue for him.

Yeah, he’s like the guy who wanted F14s removed from the game because he couldn’t play his tornado WTD61 by flying in perfectly straight lines to bases and bomb them without being shot down

that moment when you realize every video game made over the past 40 years has been telling you how to dodge aim 9m’'s "Cut Engine POP FLARES AND TURN "*

Nope. Too many things to do at once. Must be defeatable with a single button press (ideally not even that if I can just let MAWS do it for me). I want to be able to fly in straight lines on reheat without consequence

i just want to know how bad these people are going to whine when aim 9x comes. https://youtu.be/4g4_jzqBJnA

Forget Aim-9X.

ASRAAM at a range of 30-40km

I don’t know what you’re talking about you understand that low frequency search radars can detect stealth aircraft

Yes. In some situations and circumstances.

You understand it’s not as simple as turning on a low frequency radar and presto you know where all the stealth aircraft are right?

You have vastly oversimplified detecting and coordinating the interception of stealth aircraft. If it was nearly as simple as you make it out to be, everyone wouldn’t be putting so much energy into stealth / reducing rcs and emissions.

Yes VHF and low frequency (like L band) radars can get returns from stealth aircraft in theory/clean conditions.

In the real world with EW, EMI and RFI it’s not nearly as simple. And that’s without discussing them using the same techniques you’re suggesting for the intercepting fighters.

Isn’t this what Pitbulling is?

If the internal radar of AIM-120 can’t see out to 25km then you would need to get the missile “close enough” to the plane your trying to have it lock onto.

Depending on how “Close” the missile would need to be for its radar to finally lock a plane/heli could entirely dictate if HML/M1097 is good or bad as an SPAA.

Because Gaijin doesnt know anything real about the more modern US vehicles, but they somehow know about the modern russian ones. “Well we´re not 100% sure about modern russian vehicles so lets make them better anyway, its probably correct.”

Well first of all I’m aware I’m simplifying because if I went into the details this would be an encyclopaedia again most of my knowledge comes from stories of Serbian Air Defence radar operators that have detected and shut down the F-117.

And I don’t really know what you mean by everybody wouldn’t put so much energy in stealth if it was that simple the whole reason why people are doing that is to reduce the range of the radar detection And also I’m talking from knowing few of the Russian tactics for intercept I’m really not simplifying it Russian Tactics are i see shit on the radar I tell the azimut towards that target and The Fighters do the rest As an example the audio log of su-34 talking to ground operator while being engaged by patriot the ground operator only said I see missiles from this directions run to this direction and that’s pretty much it

I don’t know what you mean clean conditions like good weather and if that’s the case then no the Serbian air defense during the 1999 bombing managed to track f117 through a pretty cloudy weather befor it got close enough to be shot at

I’m aware of effect of electronic Warfare effect on search radars but my statement Ignored EW Because it’s hyper complicated due to counter electronic warfare systems Because I really don’t know how good is EW and CEW systems

And if somebody mentions that the F-117 had its Bombay doors open I will break your legs because it didn’t

Keep thinking that, hopefully Russia won’t have to find out that isn’t the case.

Brother if fucking radars from 1960s could detect stealth aircraft I’m pretty sure that Russian new raiders such as NEBO-M could as well

I’m sure there’s no nuance to this, hey the F-22 is probably useless!

I don’t know where you got idea that have f22 is useless The whole point I’m trying to make is no the F22 is not some kind of invisible monster That you can’t do anything against

It’s incredibly lethal and effective aircraft probably the most effective aircraft in the world but it’s not a wonder weapon
