Why the russina have all the fun?

3 Nations. The Rafale is a one trick pony. You US players don’t need to have the best jets in game to be dominant.

Maybe look at the features I’m defending and why I may think that feature is valid, either in its current form or an enhanced form.
There are a lot of posts that would scrap entire game modes rather than wait for potential improvements.
There was a post that wanted to add an entirely new an untested method of frag crediting that no other game on the planet has done because they were unsatisfied with the current RP & SL earnings; so I retorted that just demand improve RP & SL rewards for time spent in match. Same result, easier solution with no player backlash.

A lot of my opposition to ideas is because I feel my critique lead me to a better solution that’s easier to implement and/or have less pushback.

At no point have I utterly dismissed someone’s problems; I always at least think of a counter solution to their issue whether that’s a change to the game or advice to make the game easier to enjoy.

I barely play US.

This post is about
1 A player who is struggling to fly against Russia ( possibly )
2 Sausages
3 The wonderful world of Alvis Wisla
4 Who is better USA or Russia?
5 Fact or fiction in Warthunder.

This is what happens when the moderators take a holiday.

Kind of wonderfully obscure from the start though : )

And it’s glorious.

I am sad about OP and his thread getting ruined though.

Bizarre posts get bizarre reactions. I like to think there is some dog fighting help in there somewhere for him.

Thats a myth, or at the most a halftruth

My guy its a fact. They later added springs and servos but it still required a ton of force.

U.S props do suffer.

  1. Amazing CAS aircraft even for fighters

Consequence: Tankers go to ARB to grind out bomber F4Us and P47s and LARP as lawmowers making those who actually want to dogfight in those planes at a numerical disadvantage.

  1. Matches end far too early to make proper use of most american fighters

Your main asset is being able to dictate the engagements. Unfortunately, due to how hard matches snowball and the 20 minute limit, you cannot really use this to your full advantage.

It’s significantly easier using a P-51-D-5 in air simulator compared to air RB because in air sim, you can force the fight to occur on your terms and disengage and re-engage to your heart’s content provided the conditions are right. I’ve recorded two of my fights with P-51-D-5 vs a Bf109K4 and both fights lasted 5 minutes each if we include the prepositioning and jockeying for energy and opportunity.

If you do that in air RB, you’ve ran out of time - either literally or because the rest of your or enemy team died.

Fairly certain it was the KV-1 you are referring to. Further, yes, the early gearboxes did require a lot of force (the driver had to use their whole body!) to operate but these issues were mainly sorted out in 1943 (T34) and the KV-1S (1942) with new gearboxes!

Not quite even the T-34s seen in museums have the same issues. Like today this year not 1940s

Moot point, unless those T34’s are 1943 models.

What if we just start talking about the 2025 BMW M5 for the sake of it?

Every battle in top tier air is a mixed battle, and in my experience usually the winning team in ground is the one who has more Leopard 2s since the 122s/2A7 are head and shoulders above the competition
thanks to having the best armor, spall liners, and a better round than most MBTs. Sure, the T90M has spall liners too, but the inside of the tank is so cramped that any shot in the hull forward of the engine is practically guaranteed to hit ammo or a fuel tank. Pair that with the worst reload out of the MBTs, no depression, no reverse speed, and sluggish turret traverse, it makes for an unpleasant experience. Literally all they have is CAS and the Pantsir.

The Gripen still has AIM-120s and a lifetime supply of countermeasures. Multipathing still exists too. Compared to the Su-27SM, it’s better in every way except for the missile count. Since the Gripen has the longest range fox-3 in the game outside of the Phoenix/Fakour 90, that means that you dictate the engagement against the Su-27. Since you fired first, he’s forced on the defensive first. And since the Su-27/Mig-29 have a joke of an airframe in game, they’re practically sitting still after defending against a couple of fox-3s. It angers me to no end that the Su-27 bleeds almost twice as much speed in game than it does irl AND has worse rate. And don’t even get me started on how they massacred my boy the Mig-29…

LOOK AT LITERALLY ANY SU-27 HUD FOOTAGE GAJIIN

Might as well, I think its too heavy,I hate the battery thing ,the seating position feels too high and its damn ugly as hell.

F-105D even with lower BR still suffers. F-4C is far from competitive.

Agreed. The 727hp compared to like 500 from the previous M5 is useless considering:

a) the battery weights like 5 billion kilos
b) hybrid cars/ electric cars will never beat a good old petrol/diesel engine
c) It looks goofy
