T-1s aren’t even close to being 8.0 material.

Yeah, I also agree, however, chances are there is no suitable replacement.
Gaijin has omitted armament many times in favor of better BRs, the F-1 and T-2 both carried AIM-9Ls but neither have them. I’d rather have a T-1 without 9Bs.

I mean, yeah, maybe the version with the better engine could get the 9bs and get a slightly higher br and folder it with the other one, in the other hand japan could also get their T-33s while not “original” the did use some

Also the 9bs arent a crazy weapon, can be easily avoided like per example the sea hawk could go down to 7.7 no problem (also wtf was gaijin trying to cook, why is the mig15 bis ish the same br as that plane wtf)
Ehhh, even then I wouldn’t like the T-1C to have 9Bs. Just way too high of a BR when it could be much more fun below 7.0.
While not original, the T-33 was produced in japan under license so it’s not that outrageous.

They could do what they did with the a10 and add both an early version with no 9bs and a late version with them, ofc foldered so people dont need to play them or they could add it as a premium, idk ic i really would like to play the one with 9bs
Sorry I missed this, but regarding your first reply, I only mentioned the early version to replace the ahistorical F-16AJ for a lower-than-top-tier CAS replacement.
A later version with all the goodies would be perfect at a higher BR.

dog the replacement is a Thunder streak for Thailand, i have been playing this game since 2014 on PlayStation and in the best 4 years almost every nation aside from the big 3 plus the UK have lost their identities one way or another through copy paste sub trees, the tech trees just don’t feel that unique anymore and removing an relatively iconic aircraft for war Thunder is a shame

The most copy-paste sub-tree is Finland and it’s only half.
And in ground, technically there’s no copy-paste cause these things called lineups exist.
Zero iconic aircraft are being removed, R2Y2 was never iconic outside fiction.
Zero tech trees lost identity.
Hungary air, BeNeLux air and ground, Finland only has C&P besides de fokker and bt-42…
