Why the narrow version of some of the maps?

Also, maps with lots of elevation changes and defilades should be available, so your gun depression can matter much more.

And we also forget useless features thanks to the map that we never had a chance to use it “Dozer blades” maybe map in the future will give the chance to make cover for long range engagement

If they at least would work, they’re bugged as F.
😂

We started seeing more 1 cap point maps still when events had a “capture n points” objective, but they kept increasing the probability of seeing them since.

It’s either Gaijin that wants to create faster matches, or you have 1 version of each map with 3 cap points and 3 versions with a single cap point competing in map rotation(ignoring the other versions) so there is a bigger chance to get a single cap point map. The problem is that it’s very rare to find someone that prefers single cap point maps compared to the original versions, something that Gaijin would know if they played their own game like we do. Let them give the option to ban or dislike certain versions of the maps like the single cap ones and you’ll most likely stop seeing them.

Cant ban/dislike shortened maps…just the map as a whole… :(

I still dont like them…but players do play them…huge mess usually…tanks kill enemy to be killed the second after and then the killer is himself killed…not even close to realistic i assume…

1 cap maps have very little strategisation. Just rush cap and hold. Often this leads to just one side steamrolling after getting the cap. So yeah, they want matches to be quicker and more arcadey. Dunno why though, because I haven’t seen people even ever complaining that matches are too long to begin with. RB matches often feel already too short, leaving to some really rushed strategies.

They should use AB for their simplification experiments. Not RB. People play RB for a reason.

My experience with 1 cap narrow maps is that everyone is funneled into a single lane, and the tank corpses fill up the entire “highway” to the cap, basically like shooting a fish in a barrel for the opposing team that’s gotten the cap.

Like Gaijin wants people to quit after first death, because the narrow maps makes it impossible to jump back into the game, if the enemy team has already the cap.

I dont agree. 3 cap maps make each team divide and end up creating a somewhat coherent line…some maps still allow flanking, but it hard to do…

In 1 cap maps, most of the team goes to the cap…and there is more empty space around it. Both teams will eventually have flankers, but much less. The “line” is much narrower and the space to move around is more “empty”.

I LIKE both scenarios…they play differently…but i think both should exist.

I am not so sure on the “narrow” new maps. There is NO WAY around whatsoever. My doubt is only it there is an “audience” for this type of map…was not asked in forum for sure…but i wonder if it is “designed” for younger players wanting a more Arcadish Arcade or even Realistic game :)

Oh I meant 1 cap narrow maps. When you cant even flank the single cap because of map boundaries.

This i agree. Strategy is minimal…more a “execution” game…whoever is fast and accurate at the draw wins…like a john wick movie :)
(Hence me thinking target audience is younger)

I know, I was just saying that the day Gaijin gives the option to ban or dislike a certain version of the map they will probably be gone cause I believe that most players hate them. I would ban every single one if I could.

No, they shouldn’t. Most of this game changes have RB in mind, not AB, but they sometimes end affecting AB. So don’t give them more bad ideas for ruining AB, they already did enough lately.

When they add CAS planes as an event prize or in premium packs you can bet that they are thinking in Ground RB. Helicopters? Who would buy premium helicopters for playing them in AB?

Ground RB is the main game mode for Gaijin right now.

Oh for f.'s sake, I just got two in row of these retarded mini maps.
Can we just get rid of them already, please!

Doubt, lemmings would cry how they have more than a single funnel to go into, and it’s simply too hard to look anywhere else that isn’t straight.

Jepp.

Don’t play those stupid map layouts.

(except in a Squadron and not everyone agrees. Than I’m out after 1 single death.)

Playing britian is a struggle, cant flank and finding hull down positions harder

I’ve been saying this for a while. This game is like some kind of psychological weapon to constantly keep you occupied, stationary and in a constant state of stress, anger and depression (perfect cocktail to get you sick). Holidays, comrade? You don’t need no holidays. You have a game to play and tasks to grind. Family? You don’t need no family. The Snail wants you to sacrifice your life and your soul. Don’t forget to keep that wallet open…
smh

Like I said in another post, this year Gaijin has to focus on overhauling and reworking almost every map in the game.

CQC and city maps should be less common in top tier rotation.

Make new large maps with top tier in mind that isn’t just 3 lanes (large linear or asymmetrical maps would be interesting).

Give premium players the ability to ban multiple maps.
