What is the significance of the existence of a Class I II tank if it cannot participate in daily and special activities? Especially those low level tanks with gold coins have no reason to play them. It is strongly requested that all tanks can participate in all activities.
Technically they can be used in the daily task, but only for the easy one
But can only do the first simple task, and level II, you can’t do it any more with the latter.
Yeah. But you can still technically do part of them is what I’m saying
u dont want levels 100s joining rank 1 and rank 2 matches just to complete a event and stuff as the new players get their butt kicked hard
they only exist for the grind
like its nice to start from old tanks and get to mordern ones as we play rather than starting at the middle or directly at toptier
It seems to protect the new people, but it also limits the rights of the new people, doesn’t it?
It simply discourages sealclubbing.
It’s happen all the time, it’s calling “seal clubbers” and “bullies” also “trolls”.
who cares this aint life this is a game u accept their terms and conditions and they dont have to accept and new players are rather better off having a peaceful match than a bunch of old players matching with them just to complete some event or bp speical missions if u dont like it u can quit the game ur not focred to play it or under any obligation to play this
yea but u dont see a match full of lv 100s in rank 1 and 2 at most u will see like 4-5 ppl on avg and might be ppl who starting grinding their 4th or 5th tech tree after they completed the others on air and ground (considering thats more than enough to get to lv100) if they made it so that special missions and medium bp tasks and event mission can be done in rank 1 and 2 u will have more of these ppl at these tiers targetting new players to progress faster
But it doesn’t restrict people from playing low-level tanks, does it? Instead, it limits the ability of low-level cars to do tasks, which has little impact on whether to play low-level cars or not, right! So you just need to team up with new people alone, for example, so that they don’t easily meet level 100 players.
A more effective solution imo would be to have rank I/II tanks give less progress towards them but still be able to do them.
That way people that only have rank I/II can still do them, but sealclubbing is still discouraged.
I’d welcome if the rank I/rank II limitation was lifted for air sim. The 2.0-4.0 BR range seems far more regular/predictable in terms of full lobbies than the 4.0-6.0 BR ranges (6-8 seems to be on the deader side from what I see in my schedule then it picks up again with modernish jets). The advice for getting into sim also often recommends tier 2 planes as they’re much cheaper to spawn.
It kind of sucks that one of my favourite planes to fly, the P-51C-10, cannot be used for special task completion.
making it so that new players stay in matches with other new players only is a good idea while making it so that rank 1 and 2 tanks can do events and bp med missions and other missions but now here another thing
i really doubt majority of new ppl care
i started the game in december and i didnt even care about events or bp missions and other tasks all i did was spawn play unlock new tank and play and i did this for like 2-3 months until i randomly decided to start doing bp missions to get the free rewards and its not like idk how it works
i played another game called enlisted and its pretty simillar to war thunder too
it has the bp thingy and stuff so im aware that this exists but when starting out i just never cared to do it and some of the ppl i met in wt as a new player do not care on finshing missions and on the other side high level ppl would rather stay at med tier or top tier so this feature is kinda pointless to add
and knowing gaijin they wont add this unless its smt that gets more ppl to buy ge for this
Back to your topic, I guess Gaijin wants to prevent bots from farming event coupons or similar that can be sold on the Gaijin market.
god how do u play air sim at rank 2 and 3 that shet was long asf at that br
I love it.
You do need to know your maps.
Only “Large” maps I play are Denmark and Dover Strait because it has cool naval stuff.
Basically, 64x64 maps are pretty fast.
Last night I had a game where the A point spawned like 4 sectors away from the runway. Thing turned into a right bloody mess as people died, took off and flew right back in.
20 km of flying doesn’t take that long. Maybe 5-6 minutes or so in a tier 3/tier 4 american prop including take off and acceleration. Bit longer in a tier 2.
My second biggest complaint about air RB after all is that the maps are too small and matches end too quickly
ahh understandable i used a ju 88 swedish bomber until i went above 4.0 skull
