what could happen is “reported as suggestion”. i made a report for the roland being low smoke after initial launch with good sources and they said it is also a suggestion despite low smoke motors being in the game now. But i agree, it is reportable.
The suggestion is just how they treat it. For modern and semi-modern thing they pass them as suggestions, not bugs. It does not change anything tbh.

But still do not understand why the 2S6 is 10.7. I would still consider its performance on par with most nations 11.7 SPAA options and potentially superior to a few (ADATS, Type 81 and OTOMATIC) and dwarfs the performance of more than a few at or around 10.7 like the Imp Chapparal and Stormers. Only things close are the OSA and Strela. Conveniently all soviet made stuff

2S6 surely isn’t superior to ADATS.
2S6 outranges Type 81 when it comes to helicopters and drones, but Type 81 missile is much more deadly at < 7km ranges against planes.
OTOMATIC is just sad and should be brought down.
Strela is definitely better than 2S6 at closer-ish ranges.
Osa is better for longer range shots.
Would be pretty convenient if many other nations haven’t received Strela and Osa.
Because they refuse to model native built stuff or model the stuff within the game already correctly. Too much is underperforming, like Stingers for example.
Has equal or greater range, has equal or superior missiles and a superior gun for shooting down aircraft (or compared to the UK one, it has a gun)
Relative performance here is important too. Worse thing the 2S6 has to face is something like a Jaguar, AMX, A-6 or maybe an A-10. Worse thing the ADATS has to face is an SU-34, Rafale, Typhoon or F-15E. There is little to no reason why the ADATS is at 11.7, should be at most 11.0.
another wild and incorrect take, as someone who has used stingers, rolands, the strela and star streak at 10.3 the osa mite be the best AA at that br by far, stingers have way less range, star steak has no proxy fuse rolands are worse in literally every stat for the same br, and strella are cracked but need you to get 6km and under.
the osa aslo keeps turning ability at range better than even the 2s6 or adats when use at 8km + ranges all while being at 10.3 br this post mite be one of the most skill issue post iv seen in a while.

Their decision to copy/paste stuff is clearly business driven.
Stingers are decent at their BR, buffing them drastically would result in a BR increase which could result in the relative efficiency to drop.
They have equal range if looking at the stat card, however ADATS has better effective range where you can actually hit stuff reliably.
ADATS’ missile is faster, has more explosive mass and a larger trigger radius. It can also kill tanks with it. I can’t really see the superior part to be honest.

Phantoms exist at 11.3 / 11.7 with 65Ds which will pretty much outrange 2S6.
i agree that the adats is in fact better than the 2s6 but i still think 11.0 is where it belongs. it is 100% the most overtired AA in the game and its current br feels like a joke, i think people bring up Russian AA so much because they seem to be placed at brs where they can actually be effective instead of being put at a brs where they cant compete at all like the roland at 10.3 for example compared to the osa or strela or even stingers.
Maybe the UK one, not the US.
Roland was decent before the nerf but they forgot to change it’s BR after that.
Some people have problems with vehicles in the USSR tree being effective.
the US 1 having a gun isnt a big enough change for it to be a higher br than the UK 1 considering the UK adats gets better vertical targeting for planes trying to climb over you.
Then both should go to 11.3.

ADATS being lower than Type 81 seems weird to me.
i think that should never have gone up to 11.3 in the first place, but dont get it twisted the type 81 is the most lethal AA in the game sub 10km not even the pantsir sub 10km is as good as that thing at hitting fast moving targets. id take a type 81 over the adats any day of the week.
not at any br past 10.3 a non tandam missile with only 800mm of pen is pretty much trash anywhere above 10.3
That thing is really amazing for planes that are 6-7km away.
Depends what are you shooting at to be honest.
Helicopters or drones are easier to take down with ADATS.
Type 81 has also no means of defending itself, so being pushed by anything is your certain demise.
It has 900mm of penetration and will kill any tank in the game.
US variant also has APDS for softer targets.
Having both of those is much better than having absolutely nothing.

idk why you think this matters, they can still make bad decisions regarding western vs eastern equipment
at its current br is terrible at both, id rather it be usable in both or even a little strong at 11.0 than be worthless at 11.7
