i think that should never have gone up to 11.3 in the first place, but dont get it twisted the type 81 is the most lethal AA in the game sub 10km not even the pantsir sub 10km is as good as that thing at hitting fast moving targets. id take a type 81 over the adats any day of the week.
not at any br past 10.3 a non tandam missile with only 800mm of pen is pretty much trash anywhere above 10.3
That thing is really amazing for planes that are 6-7km away.
Depends what are you shooting at to be honest.
Helicopters or drones are easier to take down with ADATS.
Type 81 has also no means of defending itself, so being pushed by anything is your certain demise.
It has 900mm of penetration and will kill any tank in the game.
US variant also has APDS for softer targets.
Having both of those is much better than having absolutely nothing.

idk why you think this matters, they can still make bad decisions regarding western vs eastern equipment
at its current br is terrible at both, id rather it be usable in both or even a little strong at 11.0 than be worthless at 11.7

Against planes ADATS is worse than Type 81 but it edges out against helicopters and drones.
I do think those two could share the same BR.

To the things even near its BR, it is superior. It is far closer to a 11.7 SPAA than a 10.3 one
i dont spawn an AA in to defend myself against ground targets my guy and the type 81 being better vs planes and the Adats being better vs drone and helis is why they should both be 11.0

this statement would only make sense if the adats was even good at killing tanks in the fist place, its not, even at 11.0 if an mbt wants you dead and your in an adats your dead the AAs role isnt to stop a spawn push if your relying on AA for that yor already lost the game, its the defend your team from planes in the mid game.
I’d say the Strela could be comfortably at 10.7.
The Osa is better than the Flarakpanzer / XM975, however.
Still the same BR though, for some reason.
I only tested it in assault mode and hadn’t even taken it out in grb already can feel it is horrible, the missile is way too slow and even takes some effort to hit an AI plane that flies straight, sometimes even missed! also the smoke trail is so thiccc that I think CAS could see it from planet mars, just back up to a slope you might have a better chance at killing enemy tanks than hitting a plane lol
ADATS can kill tanks and defend itself.
Type 81 can’t kill any tank in the game.
You can kill MBTs and they certainly aren’t the only type of vehicle that is getting spawned during a game.
Defending yourself from an enemy means you’ll be able to provide cover from the air for longer, as logically, you can’t provide cover when you’re dead.
