I think we all agree that BMPT’s protection performance is at the top level in even the top tier, but gaijin gave it a very poor APDS belt in order to place it at 10.3 .It seems they think that if its armor piercing performance is limited, the low BR is acceptable.
Of course, we all know that this is not reasonable.The excellent protection combined with the autocannon makes it difficult for other players to quickly handle and very annoying. Unlike other T-series tanks in the same BR, it does not have a reloading time of 7.1s, slow maneuvering speed, and lack of electronic equipment.In fact, it can fire 4 missiles in a row and quickly destroy all external structures such as tracks and barrels with its autocannon, and easily destroy light vehicles.
But for those who play BMPT, the lack of APFSDS belt also makes it lack a way to kill quickly when encountering heavily armored targets. While it can disable all targets, it cannot quickly kill disabled targets at all. It’s also very annoying.
So why can’t we just give it APFSDS belt and give it a higher BR? In this way, BMPT players can have better ways to deal with the targets they encounter, and low BR vehicles do not need to encounter such a monster again.
- give it APFSDS belt and move it up to at least 11.0
- APFSDS is not needed. just move it up
