Why no Su27S flanker at 13.0 yet?

Why are they useless?

unless you’re in the su-33, going to altitude in a spo15 equipped aircraft is a death sentence because the sectors aren’t precise enough to consistently notch, plus you don’t know what you’re being launched on (whether or not its a fox 1, fox 3). The current meta rn anyways is deck maxxing anyways and firing invisible fox 2s at everyone

And the same is true for aircraft like the Viggen. At which point its Viggen with 9Ls vs Su-27 with HMD and R-73.

Though you can always ditch the R-27ERs for R-27ETs.

But point still stands. Su-27 beats most of the Fox-3 slingers at 13.0 without much effort and the 13.0 Fox-1 slingers should probably be 13.3

The difference is that most of the fox 1 slingers are already at 13.0, while the the only fox 1 slinger that’s still at 13.3 is the su-27.

Yes, which is why what needs to happen is they need to add a 13.3 bracket and move things like the F-15A up and not move the 13.3 down which will require moving 13.0s down to 12.7

Well to be honest there is no point lowering the actual 13.3s such as the MiG29 smt at 13.0.

I could see the tornado being 13.0 due to the F4F kws being already there, but still doesn’t make the flanker 13.3 worthy.

sea harrior fa2 might be the only “modern” fox 3 slinger that’s 12.7 worthy, it’s utterly trash. Oh, you want more than 2 fox 3s? give up guns. You want bol? You’re stuck with single 9m slot. You want dual 9ms? Give up BOL. On top of allat it has garbo fm

But it doesn’t meed to happen, why would u want to lower some of the current 13.0s down at 12.7 when they’re already fine at their current br?

What is needed is a 12.3 bracket and a 13.3 bracket and for them to actually fix the BRs of everything between 11.3 and 13.3. Its a total mess right now.

I dont play 13.0 ever because its just impossible. Moving even more powerful redfor aircraft to 13.0 is just going to make the problem worse

Because they are inferior to the 13.3s like the F-15A, F-4F ICE, and Su-27. Gripen A probably should be on that list as well, but without BVR its also at a disadvantage

The thing is redfor (germany, russia, china) don’t have any powerful 13.0s. You can make an argument with the 29g or 13.0 phantom, but both are missile busses with terrible fms. compare that with the f-15a with is both a missile bus and a good fm on bluefor (israel, america or britain)

But how is it more powerful if there are already on par if not better things than it at a lower br?

Redfor have just as many F-16s as well, with China and Italy.

At which points its basically F-15A, Sea Harrier FA2 and F-16 for Bluefor.

None of which are really dogfighters either.

I cant recall the last time I saw the Japan or Italy on Bluefor. Its extremely rare. France and Sweden bounce about. Though I cant recall the last time i saw a M4K

F-15A should be 13.3. F-2 I havent experienced enough yet to comment properly, but is basically an upgraded F-16 which are 12.7. So 13.0 is probably about right. Kfir C10 has 4x missiles, 2 of which arent even IRCCM, its a perfectly average performing 13.0 Fox-3 aircraft. Gripen A might need ot be 13.3 as well, but also has no BVR at all, which does cripple it at that BR
