Why NATO IFVs autocannons are so BAD?

Ah yes the “buchmaster”

Further to your point DU rounds in game have yet to be modeled which would enhance the buchmasters lethality.

They all basically use the same model/work the same in game anyway. And they’re all based on a Russian gun in WT. NATO ones just have their fire rate lowered because “they have that IRL”, without having their accuracy increased and other stuff.

NATO bad? What or why could that ever be true?? Maybe due to this game being made in a country that despises everything about the West? If they truly made this game to the specs of real world as they claim, Russian would be a smoking mass of shit on every field.
Ask them to make a Bradley pop a T80BV tank with just the Bushmaster and HE rounds like it has in Ukraine and see where that goes…

Stop you can’t say that man, they gonna tell you you’re coping

Do Americans really believe this is what happened in the video?

CT40 cannon on the Ajax and Jaguar is incorrect. It should have 220-240mm penetration at 100m and 170-190mm at 1500 meters.

Hopefully they fix it one day.

IFV means Infantry Fighting Vehicle.

If they’re honest once the KNDS and KF51 and Rheinmetall 130mm Challenger come to the game they should lol penetrate everything in the game. That would make it more even when everyone is squishy.

Yes

But it won’t happen

The 40 mm autocannon on the French EBRC Jaguar is actually pretty solid. I don’t know what it’s like in real life, but in-game it feels quite effective for what it is.

That said, it still struggles against Soviet MBTs, which are its most common opponents. The round can’t penetrate the side armor due to ERA. Only after dumping several shots and wearing down the ERA can you reliably reach internal components.

In practice, this allows Soviet vehicles to bum-rush around corners, as they can absorb multiple side hits without much punishment.

Now I’m not saying Russians should explode the moment you sneeze at them from a 90-degree angle. But I do think their ERA plays a significant part in why specifically NATO autocannons feel underwhelming.

Russian bias

NATO MBTs get pened from the first shot and die instantly

you can get through the suspension and hit the autoloader immediately, the ERA doesn’t go down that far and it’s so thin even 25mm APFSDS can get through at fair angles

Nato MBT’s are way more willing to take a shot without killing the tank compared to russian mbt’s, thats why they are they best

A point-blank 40mm OFLT at a 90-degree angle against Relict. Are we playing the same game?

BMPT is not a Soviet MBT

edit: the suspension is still unprotected even on the BMPT

he means here, around the top of the road wheels.

We are talking about ERA. “Relict” is a Soviet ERA.
