i fired to enemy, and he fire me. i died but my fired shell deleted
Because I moved it to recycle bin.
If you shot nearly at same time then you probably died on server first before firing a shot. While on client it showed you shooting first.
Or server just decided to not register your shot in general, sometimes it happens with sound and visuals but you will have to click again for actual shot.

The pains of players stuck on high ping. I have fired and seen the shell leave my barrel, but just dissappears upon my death
