Problem is the Abrams can go 60mph irl in the game they barely break 20mph.
1- Abrams with the speed governor turned off can go 60MPH on a runway tarmac in testing without ammo or armor arrays installed.
2- Abrams can go ~42MPH on pavement which it does in War Thunder.
Main issue for me is that it’s been over a year since the turret ring being too thin bug report was accepted and they haven’t implemented a fix.
If the game followed history, we American mains would have had F-22 a long time ago.
Americans want SEP V3 because it was introduced in 2017 until now somehow top tier Russian and Chinese both have tanks introduced in 2016-2017 while NATO has all the vehicles from 2000-2010
roof tiles isn’t gonna save you from atgms, maybe from vikhrs but any smart player would aim for weakspots.
It does look cool though, I’ll give it that.
Not used in service but it was tested on the SepV2.
Welcome to NATO having superior vehicles both in-game and IRL.
And yes the SEP2 Trophy test platform is a good potential event vehicle @HondaCivici
You also would have the Object 279 vs at the same BR as the base M60. Not a good idea pal.
Not necessarily. There was no new designation as it wasn’t a test platform, it was just a regular SepV2. Trophy APS kits were already intended to be compatible with the SepV2 and SepV3.
Thus it should be reflected like that in game.
This vehicle is the SEPv3 test bed. You can tell it’s not a SEPv3 as the edges of the turret cheeks are not flat. (It’s easiest to verify with the Polish SEPv3s, as they went from M1A1 FEP to M1A2 SEPv3 and won’t have the SEPv3 test beds mixed in) I still do think that trophy should be added to the SEPv2 non the less.
I guarantee M10 Booker was put on Gaijin’s radar the moment it was accepted for service.
Time will tell how long it takes for them to make it.
It’s been passed to devs, so maybe this year. Last year seemed to be more focused on air than ground, so this year would be the best bet.
idk they really opened the floodgates with EFT and Rafale
I would be so mad if they priorities air again this year. I’ve seen some speculation that the first update will bring the F-18, then it prioritizes ground for the rest of the year. They haven’t added a new top tier MBT in a year unless you count Leopard 2 in different nation or Leopard 2, but 50 cal.
take it up with the Air Force and Navy then lol, there are quite a few F-16 F-15 and F-18 they can add as well as F-14D that are all valid additions now that EFT and Rafale are ingame
whereas all we have for ground is strykers, some armed humvees, and maybe 2-3 more Abrams
Gaijin, give LOSAT HMMWV. That thing is another level of silly that I want so bad. Car with near hypersonic telephone poles. But I do see how there are more air additions than ground, but even then, there are still things to add. CATTB, for example. It and the Object 195 could be the final ground top tier.
well, final ground top tier i think will be M1E3 and SEPv4 for the US and EMBT KF51 T-14 and K-2
KV-2 jumpscare. But the thing about a lot of those other tanks is that they are somewhat practical. The CATTB is literally just, “How much random stuff can we shove onto the Abrams before the torsion bars snap?” As for Object 195, think of a T-14, but it’s good. 152 millimeter gun, 30 millimeter coax, unmanned turret, etc.
im sure itll be fun, but isnt it lacking the more modern systems necessary for current and future top tier ground RB like APS?
