The Leopard 2A7V did go up in BR, then spall liners were nerfed even more than they were nerfed on dev server, and the survivability bonus was entirely nullified against semi-competent shots.
Not only do spall liners only work once, but they don’t reduce spalling like day one of major update.
I haven’t two shot a 2A7V in a long time.
One shot has been enough.
You’re missing the entire point of the argument. the SepV2 was just a copy paste SepV1 with added roof tiles on it’s sides and a remote gun station. This provided no meaningful upgrade what so ever and there’s no reason to bring the SepV2 over the SepV1. At best it’s a backup.
Mind you, this was added when the 2A7 (I think 122B+ as well) and T-90M which were actual improvements to their predecessor. The SepV3 should’ve been added instead (just with it’s upgraded armor, nothing more). The SepV2 could’ve been a premium, squadron, or a later addition to the TT.
Or Adding the trophy aps to the SepV2 (it was tested on it) would’ve been an actual reason to use it. Then again, it would make tanks with aps unappealing

Wouldn’t be that strong. I don’t believe Trophy can intercept darts, so it would just be against ATGMs.
It can intercept HEAT shells and ATGMS which is plenty with the already good armour of abrams. Black Night is the best challenger 2 because of that ability so a better tank (in game) will benefit from it far more
I’d first spawn SEP2 cause it’s both cooler, and ATGM threats.
Cause as someone mentioned it doesn’t have Trophy.
Trophy/Iron Fist already intercepted air launched ATGMs, so yeah.
what about giving DU ammo its increased spalling and incindiary spall? from what i have read and heard, its post pen should be much better.
this would buff the USA, UK, France, and Russia as they all use DU ammunition on tanks
no it wouldnt, whatever the best APS tank is now would still be better against aerial threats, and the 2A7/Strv 122 would still be better on tank-tank combat
The only DU ammo in-game currently is M829 series, and M900.
All the others are on tungsten currently, and a spall overhaul is something I’ve supported.
L27 is DU though no?
and is the increased post pen/incindiery spall modeled on M829?
Its the uncounterable air to ground missiles from CAS which are the main strife of top tier and such an APS remedies this greatly. even though BN has less tank on tank protection its overall better as the KA50 that’s 10km away cant kill me
It should be DU, i believe L26a1 was also a DU dart
Dunno about spall cause I don’t pay attention to spalling due to me entirely eliminating it from my playstyle in 2020.
L27A1 is tungsten though last I checked.
I know of the DU OFL round for France, but it’s currently not in-game.
Obvious 3BM59 isn’t in-game currently.
so CR2 BN would still be more effective against airborne threats, and even catch some rods, and ofc 2a7 is still better in tank-tank so SEPv2 wouldnt be the best

The max BR for ground before the A7 was added was 11.7 the max br up until 4th quarter laster year was 11.7. So no it did not cause the BR to rise.
I don’t know if you are miss remembering or if your being disingenuous and lying. I like to imagine it’s the former but you missrepresenting one of my statements has me questioning it.
Like it only working once didn’t give them a huge advantage everyone moaned about how
powerful the Spall liners made them.
