Why we have large number of east german plane for german teach tree and we have a veryyyyy few east german tank
East germany have ZSU23-4 BMP2 and T55 and T54 BTR80 and have 2s1 and 2s3 and have zsu57
But we see east german air force on air

The MiGs in game (apart from a couple) are all unique in some way compared to their Russian TT counterparts, while the tanks probably wouldn’t differ.
Plus, Germany already has an ok amount of tanks, and they probably don’t need any more.
Why german don’t have T54 on 7.7 or BMP2 on 9.0

Gaijin mostly add East German to fill the gap. If they add every East German vehicles to German tech tree. Soviet tech tree at BR 7.0-9.0 would very much be inferior to German at that range . (literally better than any nations at that point )
As German would get to have things like BMPs , PT-76 , Zsu-57-2/23-4 , T-54/55s even T-34/85 while also get access their various Leopards and iconic AFV they already had.
Also East German never use BTR-80 . Only BTR-70
we had unique variants of the T-54/55 series and even some of the T-72s,
the BMP-2 is a necessary addition imo since we dont really have a good IFV at that BR (Marder-1a3 is… ehhhhhhhhhhhh)

For East German T-54/55s , T-72s most modification were minor things which wouldn’t changing their play style much from Soviet counterparts. like T-54s mod to bring them up to T-55A standard. Or T-55AM2B which lack ATGM (maybe?) wouldn’t be that difference from Soviet T-55AM.
I’m not against Gaijin adding GDR line. But just to point out that this would make German having strongest line up in that BR range.
Welp Gaijin might end up adding them as premium vehicle or event/squadron vehicles instead.

not even close, and why is that bad even if it was the case?
a couple of T-54/55 and a BMP-2 at 9.0-9.3 wont change anything except give more east german variety
somone has the strongest lineup in that BR range currently. and it certainly isnt germany

In my first post I said “every East german vehicle.” That mean all of vehicles that GDR operate.
Welp “strongest” might be over exaggerated i should use other words like “among the best”.
but they certainly will be better than Soviet in that BR range With that much vehicles add to their tech tree.
i can see why that would be a bit much, i dont want all of them though,

this is all i need to complete my 9.0-9.7 GDR lineup (i already go the T-72M1, Mi-24P and MiG-23BN)

Mig-23BN is a very capable strike platform since it has a ccip for rockets, bombs and guns; On top of the fact that it’s extremely fast and semi-maneuverable at those speeds makes it a good option for any BR up until you fight advanced SAMs and decent CAP

strelas eat ur… ykw i mean, so do the new shilkas with iglas, sadly the only guided weapons u get are two hand guided Kh-23Ms and theyre basically shotgun range missiles anyway.
No need for guided weapons when the S-24B and CCIP combo deletes SPAA, could do with some flares and maybe an R-13 or two but a very strong pick
we asked for these a while back… could mount them technically, but never did so it doesnt get em
