Most “Western” mbt’s (leo1, Cent, AMX-30, Patton’s, were designed to fire from cover or dug in position and relocate or drive up and shoot over hill crests. That’s why hull ammo rack is so exposed, it was designed to shot from cover at range and relocate. in game we have CQB maps, which hinders these more then a slow reverse speed.
unless you take out most of the ammo, you are a one shot.
USSR era tanks were designed for offensive operations, Western (NATO) tanks were designed with a more defensive role in mind, since they could never match the USSR in quantity. The leo2 still has this problem, other 3rd gen MBT’s were designed with bigger turret bustles with blow-out panels, to store less ammo in the hull.

False. The soviet equivalent to the Leopard 2A4 and M1 Abrams is the T-80B/T-72M-2 which sits, like the rest, at 10.3.
The CV90120 has a 5 seconds autoloader (versus 7.1s of the Sprut), better APFSDS (~600mm 0*), the best optics in-game for a ground vehicle, 3 gen thermals and insane mobility. What does the Sprut M has in comparison? 3BM60, 3gen thermals for commander and gunner and -5 gun depression.

thats why the cv90120 sits at 11.3 and the sprut sits at 9.7. imagine having 3rd gen flir at 9.7 and still bitching about it
however i still see bmps that sit at 9.7 doing great at top tier. imagine being able to fire atgms on the move…

And 105mm has over 50% more filler than 122.
Object 279 does not have a laser range finder. It never did. Fires the same round as IS7, NVD doesn’t matter.

Arcade is where SPAA is OP and fast firing is likely still most powerful.
All my statements are in the context of ground RB cause that’s what I play.

Wait until I told you about Iberian Castle where I used a T26E5 to 1v1 an IS-4M.
Started with the barrel, track, then side armor.
Granted, it couldn’t pen my front reliably either despite it being a BR higher.
