The in game gripen is not great at cas, I personally use it just to smite russian aircraft
Brimstones are slow, the damage is inconsistent. They do turn well, but I personally don’t find them reliable enough unless I fire 2-3 at once.
And nothing else at 12.7 gets even close to the F-15E? Whats your point here.
Name me some 12.7s in GRB then, no let me do it for you:
F-16C: same weaponry (6 AGMs, Gbus etc) albeit less GBU39s if you take 6 AGMs
F-18C: 4 superior AGMs, same GBUs, essentially the same but slower, isnt an intended ground pounder, still very potent due to its crazy maneuvrability and nose authority
F-15A: You’re right, idk bout this one, why would you use a pure fighter in GRB
Su27SM: also 4 superior AGMs and good GBUs
Gripens: 4 superior AGMs, flares go in every direction so it can evade IRCCM way more effectively, no only 4 GRB Hardpoints but also half the size of an F15
M2K (the Attacker one): 5 good AGMs and also very good options over all
As you can see:
Planes at 12.7 that were intended to do CAS are nearly at the same level as the F15E. The mere fact that the only AA that can effectively intercept 6 NATO AGMs is russian says more about Ground balance than air balance
The KH Plattforms are just flat out better than the F15E and any other 12.7

Indeed but that doesn’t mean the S1 isn’t powerful. It’s at least more powerful than any other spaa.
28 Strombreakers would be op but i guess 6 at least would be alright. Add all 28 of them but limit the F-15E to only 6 in ground
If there is the problem with the MMW seeker just add it with IIR

F-18C- 4 slightly better missiles opposed to 6, no bombs can be equipped if using 4 AGMs.
F-16C- Same Weaponry but less bombs for better flight performance
Su-27SM- Average GBUs or lots of smaller bombs, decent unguided rockets.
JAS39C- Slightly better AGMs, but at most 4 of them, while sacrificing radar missile capability or 4 very similar bombs (again less)
Mirage 2000D-RMV- similar flight performance to the F-15E at that point, pretty strong AGMs, extremely limited air to air or defensive capabilities
Gaijin can give the F-15 some 12 IIR Strombreakers and call it a day
Buff back the Brimstone, give me Spear missiles or sum. You want games to be completely over the moment someone spawns a jet.
The F-15E is a strike aircraft though, it makes sense it should have better strike payload than other fighters at the same BR. It’s like putting F-111A at 13.0 bc of its bomb load
not as sophisticated, not as good as CAP either. The F-111 is ok at its BR, definitely one of the stronger air to ground but nearly useless air to air. the F-15E is more than capable of defending itself (why its 14.0 ARB) and is easily the best 12.7 air to ground platform.
So it deserves to go up just because it doesn’t get dogged on by fighters with no difficulty and is actually able to do what it’s meant to do?
The Pantsir SAM caught up with me at a distance of 18 km, when I was flying at full speed away from it.
12.0 is ideal for such an aircraft.
Buff the brimstone, however, the Spear would be powered and iirc it’s only MMW guided unlike the GBU-53 that is IIR guided too. Make 'em limited too. Limit the JAGMs and the Strombreakers to only 6, same for the Spear and the brimstone (if given MMW seeker). The S1 can easily intercept most powered and unpowered ordnance, 6 would put them in the same situation as the mavs

Name the speed of the KH-38MT missile and its explosive mass.
And please name the speed of the AGM-65D Maveric and its explosive mass.
We will compare from this.
If they have the same performance characteristics, then in principle I agree that they should be on the same ballistic missile.
what about the other weapons present on the F-15E? you seem to be blatantly disregarding that. What about the weapons on other 12.7s? you seem only fixated on the russian CAS without considering other nations.

12.0 is Harrier GR.7 level. You think that an F-15E and strike harrier are on par with eachother?
