I would rather wait 10 mins for a game than to than to face jets in a late ww2 prop? It makes zero sense to get up tiered to jets in a 6.0 prop, It makes most of the late war props un-playable or at least not fun to play at all? I am just kind of upset that this has been an on-going problem for quite a while now, but we get entrenchments in ground instead of fixing the player complaints about the matchmaker, this shit just does not make sense to me.
Gaijin doesn’t care about that stuff very much.
Also, use your advantages, which are climbrate, turnrate, and acceleration. You will only have issues with airspawn F-84s(which shouldn’t have an airspawn.
Don’t chase someone who you won’t catch, and try and get the jet into a low energy state. At 6.0 you will only see 4-5 jets per match at most.
That’s not the point, you can tell me how to play around it, I know how to play around, BUT the problem is WHY am I playing around it.
The reason why, is that it kinda has to happen unless a hard Br cutoff is introduced. With a hard cutoff, the top props wouldn’t be facing anything higher, which wouldn’t be fun for the people uptiered to face them.
I think the slight mixing is good, because it adds a unique difference in playstyles and combat tactics in one match.
Because you already club everything below you. I played through the 6-7 br range. Every downtier I clubbed the props below (It was a P-51H, but you can still do great with the other superprops.) I honestly do think its fair. Yea its a bit difficult and annoying, but it’d be much more annoying being in a 5.3 facing a P-51H every game or a 5.0 facing a Ta 152 H every game.
No, it is still very playable. I dont find an issue with being uptiered to 7.0, mostly because the jets have vulnerabilities you can exploit to defeat them. Personally, i enjoy the BR range, and play it somewhat often.
Matchmaking giving you uptier/downtier is based purely on how populated the BRs nearby are. ex. If 10.0 is heavily populated, 9.0 and 9.3 will see lots of uptiers.
