Im not sure what radar CAMM uses, need to check if it will be notchable or no. Ok, from what i found it would not be notchable. If i reas everythinc corretly it uses AESA seeker.

@Smin1080p - I am going to express some frustration here. It is not personal. I am reaching out to you as I don’t know what else we can do to get this issue resolved.
The stomer has been broken in one way or another for over 6 months. The recent attempted fix actually made it perform worse, and made the phasing through aircraft even worse. You may not be aware, but the starstreak has had an issue for a long time, where the missiles just pass straight through the target.
Gunjob, bless his ever suffering heart, has tried to get this thing fixed, but we are still in the same state.
Yes, this is a minor nation vehicle, but quite frankly, it being broken for 6+ months is unacceptable. In the intervening time, several new spaa has been introduced for other nations, fixes have been applied to other SPAA, but the stomer is just left in a broken state. The sole attempted fix actually made it worse and clearly wasn’t tested in any way. 5 minutes of actually trying it showed the issue to have been made worse, it even fails on the test drive now.
If Gaijin are either unable or unwilling to put the time into making this vehicle actually, you know, work, then this thing needs replacing with either a temporary stop-gap solution or something else needs to be done. Christ, the chaparel would be about a 1000 times better than this.
I am not saying this is intentional, however the lack of urgency or care in fixing what is an important vehicle in the british lineup extremely disheartening. The stormer being broken leaves us with the ZA-35, a gun based SPAA as our sole viable SPAA up to 11.7. Imagine trying to counter KA’s and high flying jets with a bloody gun based spaa.
One of the following needs to happen, and it needs to happen very soon:

Actually fix the starstreak. Make it operate within it’s published parameters, make it actually register when you hit something. If this option is taken, then measures need to be put in place so it doesn’t get broken again on the next patch which happens with disturbing frequency.

If Gaijin are unable or unwilling to invest the time to get the starstreak working, then the missile needs to be replaced, indeally with the LMM instead which is perfectly compatible with the stomer platform and is in active use. Simular range, slower, prioxy warhead, it’s perfect for the role.

A temporary measure to swap out the stomer for the chaparel. This isn’t an ideal solution, it has no search etc but it woud at least let us defend ourselves against air.
So, can we please get some sort of statement or reassurance this this issue is actually being looked at, and is actually going to be fixed?

I’m not happy with being left with a crappy stormer, and it seems indicative of Gaijin. We havent got a devblog on the Challenger’s armour despite being promised one, and probably won’t get one until the tail end of this because staff are on holiday.
A response would be nice, directly from the devs asap after christmas.

The developers are investigating the report on Starstreak not fusing / contacting correctly with targets. As of the current moment in time, being the holidays, there is unlikely to be any changes to developments for the next few weeks. The issues with it are technically more challenging and complex than with the other issues with different missiles not fusing correctly, which were already fixed. The developers are however aware of the issue and investigating.
Regarding its published parameters, 3 reports were recently fixed:
- Incorrect separation distance from main booster
- Incorrect Maximum G Overload
- Incorrect Engagement Zones
Unless I am mistaken, there are no other reports open specifically on its performance parameters that have been passed for review. Only the contact / fusing issue in that area.
Did anyone suggested giving Stormer LMM?

Me thinks its been suggested around here, but not formally no.
Feedback has already been passed on it, however there is no offical report (as a suggestion) been forwarded for it, so if you have all the relevant materials and wish to make one, please do and we can pass that on for review after the holidays.

There are quite a few youtube videos of the LMM in action, I believe some of them were used to get the stomer IFF as there are large “IFF ON” and “IFF OFF” buttons.
