Why is the Hawk 209 at 10.3?

,

Hello, why is the Hawk 209 at 10.3 I’m just curious?

Its slower than an SU-25/(k), it’s about as maneuverable as the SU-25, it has two missiles that are roughly on par with the R-60Ms, it has less than half of the flares so it can’t make up the lack of maneuverability that way, and its engines feel significantly worse and it accelerates poorly. It also has significantly worse cannons, and a worse A2G loadout.

Compared to the A-10 premium, it’s faster but turns much worse, has much worse countermeasures, has a much worse cannon, has significantly worse missiles and a much worse A2G loadout because we know gaijin likes to balance ARB BRs on their A2G, which also turn it into a complete and utter brick to fly.

I truly cannot see why this aircraft is at 10.3 other than “Mah all aspect missiles” that you can dodge from the head on if you’re paying attention enough, unlike the R-60M where you need flares, and the AIM-9L that you can barely dodge and usually need flares.

On top of that, the airframe is incredibly weak and melts like butter the second anything tickles it

All aspect missiles just don’t belong at 10.0, stuff like Magics are already way too good to face 9.0s. Blame the br compression

thats the better one because of the mavericks by the way lol

all the hawk 200s should be considerably lower, or substantially buffed to be worthy of their current BRs.

200 should get AGM-65D, (maybe aim-9m as for ARB it blows ass)

200 RDA needs its gunpod, AGM 65D and to be able to carry 4 skyflash instead of 2

209 should be able to carry more missiles and agms as its falsely nerfed when its the same plane as the 200 series. is also missing its radar

Not too relevant in ARB
