Why is the F-4J at 12.0 ive played it and its ok at 12.0 and a down ter but more then likely your getting a up ter with the F/A-18A,MiG-29,F-16 ect like why are they 12.3 and sometimes you’ll be fighting F-14’s and the radar is just so iffy its hard to use it loves to randomly clutter when your trying to lock something its really annoying i feel like it has no right fighting 4th gen jets while being a 3rd gen itself
Cause AIM-7Fs with a PD radar is kind of cracked

F-4J is the second best 12.0 bar the F-4S its just compression sucks

F4J gets useable missiles, a good enough radar, a good enough flight model (for 12.0) and HMD.
Meanwhile the FG1 and FGR2 get the same missiles, the same radar, a worse turn rate (but better engines) and no HMD.
The FG1 and FGR2 can easily get 5 kill games when playing at its tier.
The issue with these planes is compression, not them being at too high of a br. If you move them down, then they would fight things like the Jaguar GR1A or Hawk200.
What BR do you want it at and I will tell you why it cannot be

The issue isn’t being too high, it’s that the planes above it are too low.

Just use the HMD, it becomes infinitely better
Not even that. F4j gets aim7f while the british phantoms get the skyflash (aim7-e2)

most of the phantoms are ruined nowadays its a shame. I adore the phantom (primarily spey phantoms), yet its pathetic in-game
the F-4J (UK) gets less sparrows than the US one yet its the same BR, they all need a boost in some way, whether its better sidewinders or a BR reduction (preferably functioning radars too, the J radar blows)

12.0 is cooked right now.
On one hand you got all the 11.0s and 11.3s that really can’t fight a 12.0 (think: su25 trying to beat a magic 2 from mirage f1c).
Then you see phantoms at 12.0 getting put up against f14s and Gripen A (who have fox3s that you will have to deal with while a premium f18 fires 3 sparrows at you from another angle.) Also near unplayable.
Until they ACTUALLY decompress the BRs nothing will help other than trying to stay alive and notching.
