grinded my first event jet and most of US rank IV planes (and my first tt jet!) with that thing in ARB, the 20mm are great against light pillboxes

Id say the main highlights for the British air tree is the hurricane mk2b trop (loada machine gun tracer to burn planes out), tempest V vickers (CAS monster) and the mk24 spitfire, my go to plane for 1v1 fights grb air superiority and CAS from 6.7 to 8.0

Not just pillboxes, I love shredded people who attack strike aircraft. Still remember how I made a 262 player rage after baiting him into a turn fight and killing him

absolutely, i was a bit confused realizing it felt like a better dogfighter than most US fighters lol. possibly the best all rounder at the BR
Oh yeah, I feel like it’s wing loading combined with the fact that most people at that br are not expecting that much punch out of a propeller strike aircraft, let alone a us one. I genuinely can win fights against fw190s as long as I keep their airspeed low and prevent them from turning too fast

Mk24s are goated I assume, I only boom and zoom them most of the time simply because dogfighting does not go well
same happened to me, surprisingly good flight perf + 20mm with a lot of ammo to spare make a very good combo
They have the power and agility to win knifefights with any aircraft that isn’t an LF mk9 spit or a Japanese zero and the speed to chase off early jets. Truly a monster in a skilled players hands.
I feel like other countries are not used to us planes having 20mms at that br, most that do are at higher br or corsairs
there is also ju288 which is free SL in a headon lol

If not angled, shoot the cupola. The russian 76 is insane. Shoot at any angle and you’ll go through. Any sliver of side and it’ll go through. You basically gotta aim for the angle and not the flat plate.
Yeah, usually I try to negotiate with the guy to let him bomb a base and then shoot him down but most just keep running

what i would do is just strike ground targets and AI planes until i had like 300 rounds left and then cruise on over to the enemy forward airfield about 30 seconds after friendly base got destroyed
wonder if one was flown by me. would be funny
