You have a whole team of players. It is your responsibility (and your team’s) to make sure that when you push forwards you aren’t letting enemies slip through the gap. You can use the map and the kill feed to monitor where there may be breaks in your line, where enemies have potentially gotten through, where they are going. This is part of the game.

I don’t know what you are talking about. I have played Britain more than any other country, that is true, since it is what I started out with and what i learned the game with. However I have Germany to a higher tier than any other country excluding Britain, with two 6.0s unlocked but not yet ordered.

It is slow, but has excellent armour and gun. The cupola is just as hard to hit as the Jumbo’s mg port, and of course only works for APHE. The Tiger also has a cupola; in fact so do many, many tanks in game, like the T-34 or ISs.

On that we agree, maps have been dumbed down and reduced drastically in size over the years, but still, don’t get into CQB with a tiger, you won’t cut it.

Each time I get in a map I’ve not played in a while cause this fucking matchmaker gives me only seversk, sinai and hurtgen forest these days I notice that spots that I was using are now out of bounds or blocked by rocks or they simply removed any LOS from it, thus rendering them completely unusable.

YEAH THAT’S WHAT I’M TRYING TO SAY. Do you think I don’t know that the KV-1s are oppressive? The Matilda II? The American T-34? Is it that hard to accept that sometimes it’s the Germans doing the oppressing, or are you too busy crying about how everyone bullies Germany?

Yeah map design is going downhill. Although the Tiger can still do great in CQC, and the Panther is great at locking down long straight roads. Here is the last game I played (with Panther uptiered to 5.7 of course), Sun City, you don’t get much more urban than that.

it’s hilarious though. People come here and say they want the jumbo moved down, people scream “skill issue!”. Those same people shouting “skill issue!” say it would stomp the lower br…which could be considered a skill issue in the opposite teams hand now xD
“skill issue” is not a legitimate argument. Because the jumbo players used to tell the other players they just needed to get better and now the other players are telling the jumbo players to get better, the circle of gaijins life cycle.

If you look through this thread you have a couple of German players bawling their eyes out about how Germany from 5.3 to 6.0 is bullied by Jumbos and IS-3s (which are at 7.3). That would be a reason why.
I should clarify that I have no definite stance on the Jumbo 76 as I have never played it. It definitely doesn’t seem overpowered, but on the other hand I am wary of pulling it down too close to the Jumbo 75 which definitely should stay where it is.
Yeah you can always get good games using anything if you know how to position yourself and can use your eyes and ears, but let’s be honest, a jumbo will always have the advantage on a tiger in CQB but will get shit on at long range by said tiger.
Doing good in something doesnt mean it is meant for it, I got games where I got 10-13 kills doing some goofy shit but if the enemy team paid attention they would’ve killed me instantly and I got games where I did everything right and still got sniped or lolpenned by something crazy.
Personal experience doest not dictate if a vehicle is good or meant for something per say.
But I do get your point though and I agree with it to some extent.
