Yes, though it sounds like you’d like it to go down when it’s mostly fine at 6.3.
You wont find any sense in this game any way you look at it. Its too OP at 5.3 and out of its depth at 7.3 .Its quite unlikely its going to be played at 6.3 unless its on its own as its going to have to be in a line up of less or greater.
I guess the only way to make sense of it all is to forget about BR in its entirety to a degree.I just find both this and the Pershing to be pitched slightly above what they should be in relation to German and Russian things they face.
I guess this partially why you have ODL and people bailing from the uptier.
Most of the complaints on this forum are related in some way.
Maybe Gaijin should think of a better way of packaging this mess so people are not so anal over it all.
I can see that for the Pershing, but I believe the 76 Jumbo is fine at 6.3. It shouldn’t be the same BR as the Panther / Tiger E (especially because most maps are CQC anyways).
I just think that 6.3-7.3 is quite compressed still, due to the Tigers and Panthers and Jumbos going up to decompress 4.3-5.7 area.
Once the Jumbo 76 no longer has to face Tiger II Hs in a 0.3 BR uptier, then I think it would be perfect.
Just that the only way to do that is to increase the BRs of most 6.7s… not decrease the Jumbo’s BR to 6.0.
And the only way to do that well (without compressing the 7.0-8.0 range) is to increase the Max BR range to something like 12.7 / 13.0 for ground vehicles. (Of course we could definitely need more but that’s a good start for Gaijin).
I’ll give it a big blast later on and get back to you.I do get that it can be a slightly more nimble Panther and and not as mighty as the 6.7 Tiger 2
I wonder if Gaijin removed the numbers from a tank and grouped them in another way with 6 -and 6.3 together a newer player would even notice.I wonder if all these micro BR numbers create more worry than there is to worry about.
You raise some good points .I’ll go away and re-evaluate it at a few BRs.👍
That’s like every Sherman jumbo
Honestly a great buff for the jumbos would be a bit of extra torque out of the transmission to assist with rotating the hull.
In my opinion all the non-panther Fs should move up 0.3 BR. The Panther A still sitting at 5.3 is ridiculous; it is essentially invulnerable from the front (turret has small and trolly weakspots) to everything, and to boot an amazing cannon. The Jumbo 75 on the other hand is slightly better protected, but the Panther’s cannon is leagues above the 75. I do not think the Jumbo 75 should come down (which yes, I have played), but I definitely think the panthers should go up.
Let me guess, you are allies main, right??
Panther A is 6.0. The Panther in 5.3 is D and this is fine in 5.3.
Wait a second lol the panther D is very undertiered at 5.3…its only flaws are slow turret traverse and non existent reverse gear, which can be easily mitigated by simply staying behind sniping, the long 75 is exceptionnal for this br, armor is almost impervious to anything non heat-fs at a distance, weak spot on the turret is pixel sized and prone to volumetric all day long.
That thing could get up to 5.7 tomorrow, in fact most german vehicles could go up in br but the german mains keep them low cause they can’t use their brain a single second in matches.
Is perfectly fine.
Of course nothing like allies mains a superior player race LOL.
I fixed that with something more accurate for you.
Lol come on dude…
1st off, I play most nations and germans up until 6.7 are by far the easiest vehicles to play, you can lolpen most things, take shots easily and they have good mobility for their weight, especially the tigers.
At least if you say that the panther is fine, elaborate a bit, because there are plenty of vehicles that are slower, with a less potent gun, less armor and gun handling that are higher in br, including the Soviet T34-85 if you want to start on the soviets, a tank which gets lolpenned by the panther anyday and will never pen it from the front except on the minuscule turret cheeks.
Ditto the vote to move the Jumbo 76 back down.
It could be at 7.0 if you would like, after all it did see combat in korea
I actually play a lot of different nations. I have Britain to 8.3, the US to 5.7, the USSR to 5.3, and the Germans to 6.0.
Can you tell me why the Panther D is fine at 5.3? What possible reason do you have for it being equal to the T-34-85 (D-5T), the M4A2 (76) W (and inferior to the M4A3 lol), the Comet. The turret mantlet is extraordinarily bouncy, and even if you have time to aim (and are close enough to have a hope of hitting it, have enough pen to go through, and your target is stationary) can bounce your shot if you are a pixel off.
I always uptier the Panther D to 5.7 anyway to play with the Tiger, I don’t think that this would be so very bad for the Germans.
Said the “Panzerknacker” German main. Please, present your arguments.
I uptier the m41a1 to 8.3
Isn’t that self-explanatory?
It gets strong frontal armor and a high penning gun for having horrible turret traverse.
The M10 would be 4.7, if it had the same traverse speed as Shermans.
Or just take the Archilles and the Avenger.
When you have a crappy turret traverse it limits the targets you can engage, thus you need a powerfull gun to make up for it, so that you can at least kill the targets you can engage.
However the Panther 75mm isn’t even remotely strong enough over the US 76 or RU 85 to make up for the turret traverse, so it also has better hull armor.
The Panther D is simply better at getting shot but not in shooting others like every other medium tank.
I get killed by that tank every single time. At least it can’t pen my tiger 1…The 76 may be sad in an uptier, but it also makes German mains want to kill themselves when they turn a corner and see that bastard right on the side. And for some reason it can’t get penned by the might 88. It works like the KV-1 L-11; God in a downtier, crap in an uptier.
Please, stop insulting the poor Panther so that one can get the 0.7 off the 76. The 76 Jumbo is outrageous; it’s damn hard to pen and most people don’t have a clue what that thing can do. The Tiger 2 can’t pen the tank as easily since it uses the same 88 from the H1, and the tiger can be flanked, for those that have a brain. I say we shouldn’t complain about the BR and such but rather use the time to get better on the tanks.
