I just completed stock grinding The German F4F and its absolute dogshit at 11.0 .It gets 4 Aim9j (not good,not terrible ) and 1 vulcan .The airframe is so trash that you cant energy fight anyone if you stay close to ground which you have to because it doesnt get any radar missiles and you will get sniped by Mig23, mig25 and Aim7 . Every game has been an uptier due to so many wallet warriors at this BR(Mig23,F4s,F4ej ) . its completely unplayable for air Rb , u cant even bomb bases because the Mig23 and tornado and F104S takes all bases with their speed. To put this into perspective , F4ej is same BR as it but gets 4 Radar missiles .It is absolute BS that i have to fight with a coughing airframe, mid IR missiles ,while the enemy is chilling at 5k alt with R24R and Aim7 .
It should be moved to 10.7 for Air RB atleast , it should not be same BR as F4EJ .

You use it to bomb bases
you have nearly the best F4 for dogfighting as you have slats, plus weigh less (cause you have less fuel tanks), plus have a vulcan one of the best guns in the game, the f4ej has no slats (so it has slightly higher top speed but basically cant turn at all) and some of the worst aim7s
take your full missile complement, and only two flame bombs, dont bother with gunpods they are a waste of extra weight, sometimes carry a droptank but drop it once youre at the battlefield, though otherwise full or nearly full internal tanks will be fine, stay low initially and avoid direct fighting until the game has established and then just boom and zoom people who are preoccupied by your teammates (basically aim to killsteal or save your teammates) with either your gun or missiles, then when you run out of people to shoot at, or if you get to a base before anyone else has gotten it use your flamebombs
im my opinion the F4F/F4E are best as endurance fighters, your goal is to stay alive for as long as possible doing something minor at all times, you get lots of fuel and weaponry and ammo to do this and there are very few cases where someone can have an absolutely unbeatable advantage over you
my experience is with the kurnass, which gets the aim9G and 6 of them, and imo the aim9g is better but i was still heavier and you can still dogfight most planes you come across at at least relatively even terms and if you cant, you can run away because youll be faster then them after one or two turns
AIrframe isn’t trash, with you saying that, skill issue.
It is extremely clear you have never even thought about playing F-4EJ

Fact that f4f is only better than 104g, so it’s 0.3 higher, yet 104g BR is still questionable

F-4EJ is extremely mediocre, because it has a terrible RWR, bad FM, and bad radar missiles. It’s not better than the F-4F. Even with the F-4F having only 4x 9J the F-4EJ can only be considered a sidegrade at best if not a downgrade due to the worse RWR/FM.

And by rating the vehicle we do consider compression and relative strength. And relative to f4f, f4e, and 104g.
I don’t consider overtiered vehicles like F-104G. But yes, I make my assessment considering all variables

the f4ej with no slats, and worse missiles is not worth the 0.3 lower br than a standard f4e is the main thing, the f4f with better fm and no radar missiles at all is worth it

my bad, i should have wrote a few things to clarify . The airframe experience i am talking about is stock , like i said , i just finished stock grind and yes, it was trash all that time , After 8 hours of playing with all mods, yep i take my words back, airframe is pretty good FOR dogfighting Soviet jets. But my main problem is still that it should not fight F4S(if the enemy is skilled , you are cooked ), i am a energy fighter and cant fight withtout altitude and the moment you go up , some gremlin F4s and mig23 comes to smack my ass with a fat missile

maybe i should play with F4 in US tree first , i dont know a thing about them
