It is also important that hstv l does not penetrate the T-80 and T-90 in the side and in the gun mantlet. You can make a mistake shooting at the side of the T-80, this mistake will send you to the hangar.
With 26 rounds I can frag 13 tanks in a ground match, I don’t expect to, but I can.
In reality, I haven’t even used 14 rounds in any match yet because my max frags was 6 where I used 13 rounds; and one was a helicopter shot down with the APFSDS round, no LRF.
I haven’t even used 30 rounds in the 2S38 in any match, not even the nearly nuke match when it was 9.7.
If 2S38 was unironically OP then it’s mobility and gun would be better for one, and my KDR in it would be better than the Begleitpanzer, HSTVL, and VCC-80/60 to show indication that it’s potentially OP like I have with the Jagdpanzer IV vs other casemates, KV-1E vs other heavy tanks, and M4A2 vs other medium tanks. You’d also have 2S38 as your highest KDR auto-light by at least 50%.
In reality, the 2S38 is currently about correct for its BR even if I wouldn’t mind 2S38 being 10.7, though that’s primarily if Strf 9040C doesn’t go down.
And if you’re running out of ammo in any tank, I’d suggest managing shots better.
Also if you get upset at people providing evidence on why tanks are superior, I’d suggest calming down.
If you think the 2S38 is so OP, go buy it and prove it.
You know what I did when I said KV-1E and Jagdpanzer IV were OP?
1- I had the cross-analysis prepped.
And 2- I had the stats to back the claims up if anyone decided to look at the statcard.

I’ve had zero issues penning the ~dozen T-80s and T-90s from the side in my HSTVL so far, they usually die in one hit due to the ammo present.

I still need to research the stalinium breach cover and side skirts so I cant speak on this.
Think the only downside’s to the 2s38 is it’s gun depression, size, and top speed. (Speed being the main problem)
Other then that, it would perform bout the same as the hstvl.
so it should probably be -0.3 to bout -0.7 below the hstvl if anything if were comparing capabilities.
honestly its too good for its own BR, up 10.7 would be better
decompression would certainly help but until then 10.7

Gaijin logic 2s38 on 10.3 while the namers are on 11.0/3 and hstvl is 11.7

And TBF, We are comparing a spaag (2s38) with a light tank.
The spaag being able to destroy even heavy tanks from the side with either apfsds or aphe and destroy any aircraft with proxy fuse, It’s about in line with the italian otto except for radar.

Gaijin admitted that the 2S38 was OP when they introduced the extra modules, this tank was the entire reason for that change

The HSTVL is double mobility and 22% better penning round, which is usually the justification for many light tanks, and tanks in general, when other things are relatively equal.
BT-7M is 1.0 over BT5.
M41A1 is 1.0 higher than M41A3 purely from the better round.
Sherman Firefly is 1.0 higher than the Sherman 2 purely from the better gun.
AMX-13-90 vs AMX-13, better gun warranting 0.7.
DF105 is 1.0 over AMX-13 with better gun and mobility.
This trend is the most common trend.

The OTOMATIC is over-BR’d and should be 11.0 currently. If its APFSDS was removed it could be 10.3 - 10.7.

No, modules were because of all light tanks [and to a lesser extent all tanks in general], 2S38 wasn’t the reason, just one of dozens.
Unless ur line up is only spaa and very lightly armored light tanks this isnt true
