does an AP for the 90mm even exist for the Mecar 90 mm? I have only found HE, heat, smoke and canister

Honestly no clue
This variant seems to have a muzzle brake so it’s possible it was trialed

I agree, though immersion is completely gone by this point, unfortunately.
This is why I didn’t suggest the mighty lawnmower either. The Spz. I C is 7.7 material (And also sorely needed there, given that the Luchs and the Marder A1 are horrendous)

This would potentially be another option. Fast, good pen but really bad armor and no roof

I would like to suggest a rather unique tank, the Swiss Mowag Skorpion
[Rmza96M.jpg]
The Mowag Skorpion was a tank destroyer developed by Mowag in 1957. the tank was ultra-light and very low profile to make it more mobile and harder to spot. this tank was eliminating all elements that were not essential for his use. This includes a roof. intended for the mountainous terrain of the Swiss Alps, the tank offered a high range of elevation of the gun to aim down…

Bump up Sd.Kfz 234/2 to rank III. Its BR 3.7, so its a no brainer.

Perfect for fill the gap betwwen Puma and M41.
Germany right now between rank 2 and 5 is a big pile of trash so Swiss tanks can fix this.

Yes is a option but the problem with the big gap between 3.7 and 6.7 still there. Puma firepower is very poor so Germany still needing something better.
And this looks very good:

The easiest solution sholud be add a non premium variant of Pakpuma but Gaijin looks like want destroy German TT for push his massive player base to buy good premiuns.

According to one of those sources it is classified as a tank destroyer and there were two versions: one with 57mm and the other with 90mm. If adding as a light tank to German TT (rank 3) it would have to be the 57mm version.
FYI I could not find anything independently on the Mowag Skorpion. Did see one in the WOT TT - is that where the “source” got the details?

Classification depends more or less on gaijin see M18. The 90mm is here suggested. The name of the gun is pak57 but calibre 90mm.
250mm 0° pen, rather low velocity (600 m/s) should be alright at 5.7 or 6.0 because it has like zero armor. 8mm can be penned with every mg at that br
These would be possible aswell:

I would like to suggest a rather unique tank, the Swiss Hispano-Suiza HS.30 mit 9cm Panzerabwehrkanone 57 or just HS 30

The HS.30 mit 9cm Panzerabwehrkanone 57 was a private venture made by Hispano-Suiza in 1958. the tank was a light tank version of the HS.30 which was produced for Germany as the Spz 12-3. trying to go in competition with Hotchkiss who offered a light tank for reconnaissance called the Spz 11-2, Hispano-Suiza created a light tank th…

I would like to suggest the Swiss tank destroyer, the Mowag Radpanzer mit 9 cm Panzerabwehrkanone 50
[awp7Ipa.jpg]
This armored car was a Swiss experimental tank hunter that was developed by what was to become the main Swiss military exporter, Mowag. this armored car is very likely based on the Rpz Flak 38 which was a badly designed dual-purpose anti-tank/anti-aircraft mobile artillery. but the most important flaws of the Rpz flak 38 aren’t present on the R…

I would like to suggest a rather unique tank, the Swiss Mowag Jagdpanzer Pirat
[opySSn6.png]
The Mowag Jagdpanzer Pirat was an anti-tank version of the Mowag Pirat which was a family of light tanks that was proposed to Switzerland and developed in parallel to the German Marder IFV in which the Swiss engineer participated. the Pirat was a light tank in all but name. Designed to engage the armored targets exclusively from the mountainous area, it was intend…

If the PT-76 is at 5.0 with 200mm pen but with a stab to compensate I don’t see why the Skorpion couldn’t also be 5.0

It has 25 hp/t and the 90mm gun should do more post pen than the pt-76b one. But in the end it depends on the reload they give it

Again, PT gets a full stab at 5.0. I’d say that balances it out quite nicely.

I don’t believe there are any 90mm light tanks at rank 3. I think it should use the 57mm version and keep the BR down a bit more like 5.0 or 5.3, with a fast reload.
Seeing this, I now want the Spahpanzer SP I.C ingame.

I miss when people accepted that nations have their own quirks and not cry for every vehicle for every nation… “A nation don’t have B vehicle type in C br range so we should add D!!” my ass. Some nations have something others don’t have and lacks what others don’t, that’s what makes the whole nation mechanic special…
