was basically the prototype 2A5 which was upgraded from a 2A4 chassis iirc.

There’s not actually a Leopard 2A5 KWS II, just that the KWS II was the second stage of the KWS program, like ICE is for aircraft, combat capability improvement.

Seeing as I’ve went n seen them not long ago.
The leopard 2E used by the Spanish, stands for España and im not even kidding.
even a simple google search would of saved that.

The Leopardo 2E or Leopard 2A6E , was ordered by Spain and slightly changed to meet their military doctrine. Same idea as a 2A4M for canada.
