Because people constantly complain about things on the forum, in other places, and start to bring it into real life, I.E Doxing a poor guy because of lies spread on the forums. If i can at least try to spread the truth, maybe it wont happen again, or if it does, we can rightfully call it out when it happens.
You have taken the most salty, most biased people who play the game, and collected them together, and polled them.
I have no idea what the silent majority is or isnt happy about, only gaijin can tell from sales/playercounts. I dont claim to know what they are thinking, but their slient voting weighs more than any forums post with 100 votes.
Many of the things that were in the roadmap were already planned. just because gaijin added them to a roadmap doesnt mean they came up with them on the spot. They expedited some of the changes faster because of the review bombing, and you are right in saying it scared them, because it hurts the bottom line.Again i’m sure some of the changes were expanded because of the review bombing, but in the comment you’ve replied to i actually wasnt talking about the revew bombing as an example, it was everything else people have said they will do that you cant remember, because nothing happened.
Certain feedback matters, some of it should, and some of it shouldnt.
And it is, for better or for worse, youve seen all the response posts theyve been doing about all the things people whine about, things like armour values that are all made up anyway, and this vehicle going here instead of there.
But this is where you are the most wrong, the majority will not play the game whatever happens, they will leave if they are not having fun. all of the companies you gave as examples and many more have had games die not becuase the core fans left, but because the majority of the playerbase did, who never interacted other than playing the game itsself.
I think you’re misreading a bit of what i wrote. Especially the last part. I was assuming you were saying people will play the game forever.
We agree that people will not.
Im also not arguing for anyone to be doxxed or anything like that.
Im just saying Air RB needs changes. Whether thats Air RB EC or adjusting the current Air RB towards and EC Lite is up for debate but it is stale and needs changes.
That’s all. Im not saying people should lose their shit over a video game but regarding the Air RB issue, its been an issue for a long time and many have very carefully laid out the issues here and have gone ignored.
We’re frustrated with the lack of a response or very reasonable and easy alterations.

I dont disagree the gamemode could do with some tweaks
I’ve explained why they might not be responding, everything that has been said in this thread has been said in the past, and if gaijin responded every time it was said, they would spend all their time sayign the same thing over and over again. Also, the alterations people want, may not be feasable for reasons that cannot see, or gaijin may simply not want to make them.
War Thunder is a VERY different game today than it was in 2016-2017 when this was being discussed by Gaijin. Since then, the problems have gotten FAR worse.
Also, when they did answer questions, they cherry-picked the most brain-dead questions, as if to straw-man the argument for Air RB EC.
I can clearly remember BVVD picking the question “Will you replace all the Air game modes with Air RB EC?”
-I swear they baited that question because nobody was asking to replace every Air game mode with Air RB EC lol.
I have a feeling this may be accurate and if it is, all the more reason to hold Gaijin’s feet to the fire and push them to make improvements.

I genuinly think that they are actually trying to do something in Air RB, a week back probably, I flew F4-F and for some god unknown reason 10 out of 16 players, both from ours and oposite team, were set in squads, but not in a way game automaticly set you with random teammate if you have the automatic squad option enabled which I turned off years back, it already set us in premade squads as when you would squad up with some buddies. We had yellow shield-like icons next to usernames which indicates premade squads even tho I entered the match solo. Unfortunately I cannot provide any screenshots as I thought that it might’ve been just a bug and didn’t care much, but now I think Gaijin might be doing some shenanigans with mode.

I secretly hope (not so secretly now) that Air RB overhaul will be in the heart of 2024 roadmap.
I mean, hopefully Gaijin is not tweaking it because they have something bigger in plans.
