The su34 can carry the R77-1 according to R-77-1 medium-range aviation missile (RVV-SD product 170-1) | Missilery.info but there lwky isnt that much sources saying how the su34 CAN mount teh r77-1
It cant IRL.
Because even if it could use them, it would be 14.3 and not it’s under BRed state at 13.3
If It had R-77-1s It would be 14.0 at max
Its 13.7 now in airRB
Thank god for that 13.3 was insane. Was not looking forawrd to my GR4 being dragged up
yes it can? theres literal visual proof and offical documents saying it can carry the R77-1
even so, it would be so much better with the R77-1, the SU34 can compete with top tier jets it has R27ET ER’s and maybe even the R-77-1, i think 14.0 would be fine for the jet
give them here
Could be a possibility in game with a later Su-34 in the Soviet tree such as the one Algeria is getting with a MAWS.
Su-34 can carry the r-77-1:

difference between the r-77 and r-77-1 can be seen by looking at the rear of the missile and its nozzle
the r-77-1 is rounded and the r-77 isnt
r-77-1:
r-77:

should the Su-34 get the r-77-1?
No absolutly not, it is fine as it is
As for why it cant carry A2A missiles inbetween the intakes, that is because those pylons probably are reserved for A2G weaponry
And also LWS it seems…
The su 34 has tons of ET missiles though, so that may be a balancing tradeoff.
i mean it CAN carry it there if it wanted to but its just VERY rare to see it, gaijin has did the same with other jets i dont see why they cant do it for the su34
i doubt they are gonna add the su34M, maybe when ECM gets added to the game
If it is only rare to see it then there should be an image somewhere or a source stating that it can as of now I have seen nothing of the sorts, so unless you have a picture or a source it can’t
I don’t see what’s stopping them from doing it anyway, would be goofy launching a Kinzhal from it, ofc at a higher battle rating.
