Hit analysis is client based and might not show what actually happened, i recommend watching the Server Replay (where you can also watch it in slow motion) to see if you did in fact hit ammo.
At first glance though it looks like you hit the actual projectile part and not the propellant part of the shell (T serries has them divided in two where the projectiles lay flat against the floor and the propellant stands up in a ring around the outer edge of the autoloader).

So if the enemy only has APFSDS round you effectively just hit a metal rod that has no explosives in it.
Is it actually hitting any ammo? What does the description say you are hitting/affecting?
M829A3 is bugged, it is being fixed rn on gaijin’s WIP client
a few things to note here:
-
M829A3 is bugged due to using a new damage-type which lacks the necessary kill-condition (through ammunition-detonation) in existing BLK files, this will however be fixed in one of the next versions.
-
This separation only happens on a very small amount of vehicles, such that have literally nothing but the penetrator in one piece and the entire charge in the other, such as Challenger 2 APFSDS;
Ingame it’s also separated as the HESH shells are stowed below the turret-ring height-wise, wheras APFSDS projectiles are stowed behind and to the left of the loader. -
Russian APFSDS shells themself also feature propellant, rendering this entire argument invalid to begin with.
Don’t bother, brick wall and all.
Everybody know how safe russian tanks are, they are NOT famous with blowing up their turrets or anything like that.
