Why does the Soviet Su-24 spawn at a speed of around 700–800 km/h in Aviation Realistic Battles, even though it’s a supersonic bomber similar to the Tornado, which, in turn, spawns at supersonic speed? I’m not even going to mention that out of its three movable turrets, only one actually works.
My guess is because of it’s swept wings, but that doesn’t affect anything on the Tornado, F-111 or Mig-23. This is just another reason why the air spawns are poorly implemented and should be removed.
Why should the thing that helps strike aircraft and allow for multiple airfields to exist be removed?

It should be FIXED, because an aircraft of the same class — like the Tornado — spawns and reaches the bases faster.
This is an example of it directly harming strike aircraft. It also heavily hurts the harriers which often go from being the first over the battlefield, to being the last, only ahead of the Su-25s and A-10s.
How does this allow for multiple airfields to exist? They worked fine without airspawns too.
I just think they should be removed because they reduce the quality of the gameplay, especially when combined with 16v16, and that they are a great way for gaijin to stealth nerf rewards since RP=time spent in battle.
It doesn’t though. The slowest part of accelerating is 0 - 500kph.
Even at 800kph starting, you are 77% - 85% of your top speed with a bomb load.
More than 2 airfields can exist on the backline now. Air spawns are effectively required for half a dozen landing points on the map per side as to prevent sealclubbing.
16x16 elongates matches…
Not for the harriers. Plus spawning 300kmh slower than everyone else for seemingly no reason isn’t a very good game mechanic. I’d just spawn every plane at exactly mach 1.0, or 0.5M below their rip speed for high tier airspawns (or something similar)
More airfields might be better with an airspawn, but not unless Gaijin spreads the airspawning players out by at least 20km between the 2 furthest planes.
It does not in my experience. It just leads to more unbalanced match endings, which greatly reduces time played and overall RP rewards. Air RB desperately needs longer and more methodical matches, and less 16v16 furball/snowball matches. Bigger maps, multiple spawnpoints, 8v8-12v12 match sizes, and more spread out ground targets would all massively benefit the mode.
The shortest matches got was when A-7D had air spawn, which that along with Su-17M2 caused strike aircraft above rank 6 to lose their air spawns.
Cause 60 - 120 second matches were not fun.
Before their addition the shortest matches were around 2.5 - 3 minutes.
Currently they sit around 4 - 5 minutes.
So yes, matches have gotten slower.

That is a different time and it is not entirely relevant. Those short matches weren’t from lower player counts, but poorly implemented mechanics. I want them to be even slower because most matches last well under 10 minutes, and very often end with 1 team outnumbering the other 5+ to 1.
Yeah, if they had them spawn with swept wings it would be fine but if they were to spawn them at high speeds as is the plane would just rip
As seen on other wing sweep aircraft it’s not an issue to spawn them with their wings swept back as well
