I’ve been grinding a lot recently all 3 major game modes, and air is about 2-3x faster than ground to grind, and naval is about 66%? Slower than ground.
Why is it this way? Ground is the most popular game mode according to stat shark, and naval is less than 5% of matches played across all game modes so why are these so gimped compared to air?
One life is why you get less RP.
You’re supposed to get 2.5 frags per match on average, that’s how many spawn points you start with.
That’s the expectation.
Just like the expectation for air is 1 frag per match.
Personally, I think it has to do with the mentality of the players:
Gaijin has found out that tank players are the most addicted try hards and will spend the most money. So they better progress slowest.
Depends on their skill.
I got 9500 RP in a 8ish minute match in ground RB earlier getting the equivalent of like 4 air to air frags but in ground mode using a tech tree vehicle.
If you want air rewards in ground RB you want to end the respawn system, cause that’s the only way they’d be in parity is if War Thunder tanks is copy-paste of World of Tanks which I left for being copy-paste Counter Strike with tanks.
Yes but lets say i get 3 frags on my first spawn that was a 2 minute minute life, then proceed to try and fail in my next 2 spawns over the course of 7 minutes. I get less rp and sl then if i got 1 kill in each spawn considerably less, you get screwed over hard.
Or like runa said why do I get like 2-3x less RP for a 10 minute life span 2500 score game than I do in 2500 score 10 minute arb match?
GRB RP gains should be based on kills and objectives not time. In GRB you can finnish a match under 10 minutes. If you have a premium tank + premium time if you have a good match 8-10 kills with 1 or 2 spawns you will get around 10k RP while in air you would get around 18k RP with 3-4 kills if you lived the whole match. I have had matches in ARB were I bombed 3-4 bases and got 40k RP. Im not gonna talk about Naval because I dont play it a lot
