pedantic distinction
Yet you don’t make the point of “OH NO, GREAT BRITAIN HAS AN F-111!”
probably because the F-111 isn’t in 5 trees, just taking a wild stab in the dark here
F-111 is hardly an important aircraft to begin with or the defining jet of the US tree, plus an Australia/UK connection also makes a lot more sense than a Dutch/French one.
Okay, and neither is the leopard…
i think they are meaning like what the F14 tomcat is to the US, the Leopard is to the Germans
??? yeah, it is…
The Leopard isn’t a defining vehicle for Germany? And the Dutch are to the French are what Australia is to the UK?
Which is dumb, because the F-14 was never exported, unlike the Leopard.
This is the equivalent of saying the F-16 should be US only, despite other countries using it.
Yes you are correct it was never exported! look at these strapping young americans in this unrelated picture!
Sorry, Iran and one other excluded.
And no, people just don’t like how much unnecessary copypaste has happened in the game, it has nothing to do with your comparison with the F-16. France didn’t need Leopards. It also wasn’t exported Leopards.
Every French player would disagree (until they fix Leclerc)
Smart french players wouldn’t, maybe dumb ones. Have fun when every single tree has every single vehicle~! Nations no longer have identity as it is.
Fair enough
Nice dystopian future I guess; what, did the soviets take over the world?
Considering there are 20+ something operators, no, not really; great, the tank is built in Germany, and the Bundeswher uses it, but it’s not gate-kept by one nation.
22 current operators, 3 purchase deals right now.
Only 3 of those are actually in the game as a nation, and of those 22, none of them is France.
Standalone, yes.
You don’t look at the grandeur picture, which is nations that operate the Leopard 2; your effectively cherry-picking data points to support your argument that simply don’t exist or make sense.
The amount of leopard 2 operators in game is 10 of those 22, these include:
-
Germany
-
Poland
-
Switzerland
-
Sweden
-
Hungary
-
Canada
-
Denmark
-
Norway
-
Finland
-
Slovakia
Because they added them when they didn’t need to be, they could fix the Leclercs, they could add more domestic designs but why do that when you can copy paste a tank into the tree instead?
Because fixing things cost time and money, while printing a sheet of paper with minute changes costs almost nothing.
