The york is better than the xm246? Lmao. Not only is the york completely useless against long range threats but it literally isnt doing anything against tanks, unlike the 246 that has the funny ap-i round that oneshots and pens anything.
Also for your info since you’re using vocabulary that you do not understand, seal clubbing applies to people who play the lowest brs constantly, where the new players are at. There are very few new players at the br I play, and certainly not now that they have announced they were removing the Ho-ri which prompted everyone to play around 6.7 japan.

Honestly, any players regardless of their experience level who do this are the ultimate source of the infamous changes that often get blamed “solely on Snail.”
This does not matter whether we are talking an aircraft autocannon vs other aircraft (example Japanese 20mm guns being sparkle-prone for years), rolling bunker heavy tanks being uptiered to where they are little more than pincushions everyone can frontally delete almost carelessly, naval guns being given artificially large shell dispersion making aiming beyond point blank unrealistically difficult, any flavor of CAS weaponry being gutted, any type of non-APHE tank munition being gutted, I could go on and on and on.
Just know man, you’re not alone in observing a pattern of people whining, getting appeased, and whining some more in an endless loop that ruins the game for themselves and everyone else.
But whether the game will one day literally say “ENOUGH!” and start aggressively pivoting to not just ignoring said whining, but actively reworking mechanics so that any and all whining can be effortlessly deflected back onto said whiner, remains an open question.
With my >10 years experience playing this game, I know it needs to happen at some point, or all we’re left with is a flavorless, homogenized mess. Thus after this much time playing the game and spading what happens to interest me, I have developed this sort of philosophy toward healing the game:

“The truth will set War Thunder free” - the game is sinking not because its an inherently leaky ship, but rather that it’s overburdened from the weight of a thousand and one nerfs demanded by just as many whiners who refuse to adapt. Thus I propose peeling back all of these “balans” nerfs all at once, then letting the BRs naturally sort themselves out. As one example - if you undo the pen and postpen nerfing of APCR rounds, suddenly you don’t need a bunch of HEATFS and excessively-strong APDS to rein in spam of late-game Heavy Tanks. If those HEATFS and APDS rounds did truly accurate postpen damage, outside of very specific cases it would be completely ridiculous for any of those to ever see any heavy tank barring an IS-7, IS-6, T-10M, M103, Conqueror, or Object 279, which would force the badly-needed BR separation the game needs.

“Make their whining their fault” - any mature person knows you cannot change someone’s mind unless they were already close to doing so themselves and you happened to be in the right place and right time to give a final nudge. Thus instead of arguing with people who are convinced there’s always some “other” to blame for their problem of the month, you alter the game mechanics to where their stubborn opinions become liabilities towards their own gameplay. This coerces them to change themselves out of pure self-interest. If they don’t, they can no longer claim they are helpless victims, but rather are choosing their prisons. If they try to complain, they get humiliated by everyone else who does choose to adapt. And if they refuse to adapt while hating the game that badly without their victim mentality, the door is that way to leave…

“Let them eat sabot” - subcaliber rounds are unnecessarily hated upon by not just Snail but also many of these same sorts of whine-prone players. And nowhere is this more evident than the completely irrational hatred of any kind of autocannon firing APCR or APDS rounds. Their penetration has been neutered. Their post-penetration damage has been repeatedly neutered. Their sloped armor penetration was first neutered and then further butchered by unrealistic “shell shattered” mechanics. Many SPAAGs are still stuck with forced mixed belts or puny “self-defense doctrine” ammo counts of such rounds. And the same sorts of people whose crying caused all these nerfs are STILL BITCHING about how “OP” they supposedly are. Hence why I think it’s overdue to take a complete 180-degree turn on matters as persistent as this - “Let Them Eat Sabot” and IGNORE THEIR CRIES FOREVER. Because they have proven they will not “shut up and be happy” no matter what gets tweaked about such mechanics, all while everyone else pays the price for their foolishness.
That is my ten cents.
