Then they shouldnt be nerfing the turret traverse of the Fox, but that doesnt change the issue of hand cranks being effected by battery power.
Depending on the trim level they decide to go with the traverse on CVR(W) would most likely be about 60deg/s with an electronic drive but just like with Scimitar with its two speed hand driven traverse would likely be in the range of 45deg/s.
30deg/s is still workable but not of the level a gunner of military fitnes would tap out at
Have you submitted this evidence as a report to counter the one that is causing the nerf? They want it as 25deg/s with a gold star maxxed crew.
I havent as none of my TMs or brochures give an exact number. Im going off of my own experience with similar military vehicles and anti tank guns from working at a museum of artillery. I personally could get a 2pdr anti tank gun to traverse about 45deg/s manually in its high gear, the guns weight is comparable to the weight of a CVRT/W turret and I’m not as fit as a soldier
Hand cracked turrets shouldnt suffer from damage to battery.
Electrically rotated turrets shouldnt suffer from injured gunners.
agreed
Your terms are acceptable, provided there is still an uninjured crew member who would have immediate access to turret rotation controls.
well you can be injured and use a joystick no?
Ah, I read injured as knocked out.
Im thinking more along the lines of: it doesn’t require a crewman to be in the best of health to merely press buttons and turn a wheel.
Hence, even injured crewmen shouldn’t put a penalty on eletrically driven turrets
Yea I agree completely now that I realize the misunderstanding. My bad.
Dw lol.
I didn’t read the other guy’s response and jumped the gun.
Mb too lol
You know what should be needed? PZH 2000, and it needs to be sent into a higher BR.
Send that thing to 8.3
Seriously, ever since it was put in the game, it has ruined 6.7-7.7 for me, especially since I play the South African tree (Ratel, Eland, G6, and honourable Afrikaner: Fox).
It ruins EVERY BR it taints
Yeah, thermals, autoloader, and laser rangefinder that doesn’t work like every other one at 8.0
Using the joysticks for tank gunnery takes a fair bit of focus and a very deft touch especially when making minute adjustments as one often does in war thunder.
I would imagine the injuries a gunner would sustain through the course of a war thunder match would be more than sufficient to impede their ability to lay the gun. Seeing as war thunder has no way to simulate the jerky over corrections of an injured gunner in shock, I’d happily take the speed penalty over an inconsistently jittery gunner.
That said there’s no reason why a jand crank should suffer from a dead battery.
Going forward let’s try to not go off topic. If yall have any personal arguments go to PM.
What would be better 10° a sec or 100° degrees a sec?
