Why do tanks with hand crank turrets suffer a reduction in traverse speed when the battery is dead?

PzIV J is hand cranked, so you could add that to a report. Traverse though, so just be sure to test it absolutely level.

No, I’ve just played it. Spaded it in like 10 matches. VERY VERY good vehicle, too good for 7.7

Even .50’s have trouble against it. So idk where you get 7.62 from

Well it is a hand cranked turret so…

Yes, good observation!

penetration has nothing do do with electronic traversal systems.

Ahem, what group got the other fox post shut down?

And making it historically accurate is fair no?

(Too honest so it gets reported).

It does in terms of its br placement

This might be wishful thinking however, seeing as Gaijing is developing more systems for the damage model like hydraulics and electricals.

Perhaps we’ll see issues like the hand cranked turret be resolved

Fox had a powered traverse option

you know what gun penetration means right? its nothing to do with gun laying speeds

"Will be avaliable”

Does that mean it wasn’t available at the time of this brochure?

no, just means its not standard trim level. bit like optional air conditioning when you buy a car it will be available to you for a bit extra cash

In that case, they why didn’t they say “Power traverse is available”?

late 1960s phrasing is just like that. Both my parents grew up in the 60s so I still speak like that at times.
Odd antiquated speak

Then they shouldnt be nerfing the turret traverse of the Fox, but that doesnt change the issue of hand cranks being effected by battery power.

Depending on the trim level they decide to go with the traverse on CVR(W) would most likely be about 60deg/s with an electronic drive but just like with Scimitar with its two speed hand driven traverse would likely be in the range of 45deg/s.

30deg/s is still workable but not of the level a gunner of military fitnes would tap out at
