Like so many people did this, what do I missed? you bypass crewlock or something? like for whatever reasons you don’t wanna play why not just quit without spawning so you save some lions or better yet you don’t drain the team tickets for nothing?

There is a strategy when grinding one specific vehicle where you take some other ones with you, and if you get a map or tier or don’t want, spawn and die in the fodder vehicles until you can’t spawn the one you want, and then quit. Avoids crew lock for the one you want, and larger lineup size lets you do this multiple games in a row.
With a 5 size lineup (max for free), and only full uptiers, you will run out of SP after j out twice (with no spaa, first spawn puts you at 350 sp, second puts you at 150, remaining costs 300). This means you can do this twice in a row, and by the third game, the first crew lock will have expired usually.
This is my understanding. I never actually do this
Fodder vehicles to take the crew lock for you when you on unwanted maps when you want to statpad another vehicle
Because now you “killed” when you j-out and don’t get crew lock. They skip the map if they don’t like it.
They already been doing this even before the recent update where J out an undamaged vehicles credited to enemies
They only introduced that in Sky Odyssey. I know for sure that this didn’t happen before, because I often j-out from Fox after capturing a point, and until Sky Odyssey, my deaths weren’t counted as kills for anyone and fox was locked due j-out.
If gaijin would let me ban more than 1 map i wouldn’t have to do this
