Why do new vehicles have such low resolution textures?

Considering it’s a 2022 model for $45 and it is a newer cockpit.

This makes it even worse…

Compare it to this A5M4 from 2013 or whatever.

You can actually make out the screws in this one at least
Good luck on Ariete one

Yeah… which is crazy that a random TT model from over 10 years ago has more effort put in than a premium model 10 years later.

You can just tell they gave up somewhere along the way, it’s sad they just stopped caring about deliving a quality product and are willing to ship literal garbage and charge a premium for it.
It’s not a lack of ability, that much is clear,

Cutting corners on bomber cockpits I already feel is unacceptable, especially with the latest one they put in the BP, not only charge you money for it, but also make you grind it for months and they still won’t give it an actual cockpit, but also on fighters now, premium at that… what a shame.

It’s such a joy to have proper, high quality cockpits.

Which apparently costs them “10k”.

10k for a vehicle they can sell 10k times.

Pretty sure there are some pre 2010 cockpit models such as Me 262s and P-51D-5, etc.

Those were carried over from Wings of Prey, IIRC

I’m going to kick it up a notch even

From 2016
P-61s cockpit looks way more detailed

That’s probably a similar quality as the Ariete.

So the B-1 is not 2013 at least… but that still shouldn’t completely outclass a 2022 premium.

And yeah, that is a night and day difference on the P-61.

Did you even take a look at the cockpit of Ariete in game?
It IS very poor quality
Some aircraft which were released even prior have significantly more detailed cockpits
F-84F is an example of one which was announced in 2020

The Saggitario’s and Ariete’s cockpits are actually worse than some of the older planes that probably haven’t had a cockpit update since they were released.

If cockpits like the early Spitfires can exist with fully functional everything, then gaijin has no excuse to have a cockpit that bad.

Even the Mig-15s cockpit is better and that probably hasn’t been changed since it was added.

Idk man, but a lot look like total shite

External models are even worse and more granular.

I can live without fully detailed bomber cockpits, but there should atleast be some effort out into them not looking like garbage.

Atleast model and texture stuff to make to look somewhat acceptable instead of the bare minimum we have now.

The Su-25 external model would like to speak with you.

(It’s so bad you can’t read the bright yellow text)

That is my stance on it, but every time it gets brought up they use this argument about ‘how it takes so much time’ as if they aren’t outsourcing this in the first place.

There is no excuse to not have decent resolution textures and just a basic layout for bombers.

This is a model they didn’t even make as it’s a community member that made the He 177 I do believe, and they are monetizing it in the BP and make you grind months for it… but no cockpit, no proper textures.

This is an ammo belt…

In the F-84 you have this.

So why do these look like this

Isn’t it upscaled by AI? Because it’s mostly seems like it. Especially if you look closer to inscriptions on jets outside of cockpit. I have tried to use it too, but there was almost no difference in textures quality.
