Making sure vehicles don’t use up too much space in the game file system is a high standard, yes.
The less storage a game uses for the fidelity and content provided, the higher standard it is.
Right, and some vehicles should pay the price for that with graphics from the previous century, because a cockpit that takes up more than 5kb worth of detail we can’t have?
Nearly all of the graphics are from 2015 standards or newer, and are very optimized for storage use.
Even the 2012 Sabre cockpits are ahead of their time for when they released.
The game doesn’t need unoptimized STALKER 2, Tarkov, or DCS file storage.
Things need to look good, be readable, and be small in storage size.
As I said, there’s a High-res texture pack if you want it.
I stopped using it over a year ago myself cause the 1080p-standard textures are good enough.
Yeah… which is crazy that a random TT model from over 10 years ago has more effort put in than a premium model 10 years later.
You can just tell they gave up somewhere along the way, it’s sad they just stopped caring about deliving a quality product and are willing to ship literal garbage and charge a premium for it.
It’s not a lack of ability, that much is clear,
Cutting corners on bomber cockpits I already feel is unacceptable, especially with the latest one they put in the BP, not only charge you money for it, but also make you grind it for months and they still won’t give it an actual cockpit, but also on fighters now, premium at that… what a shame.
It’s such a joy to have proper, high quality cockpits.
