For context, I am a level 100 with 8 nations at top tier in air battles.
However, I am a complete newbie to ground. The only time I have played ground was when I once played in a super high tier ground realistic match with a friend of mine a super long time ago, and just right now in ground arcade mode with russia.
All I want to do is to play mostly SPAA and CAS at top tier because it seems fun, with this lineup. From what I understand, you get a free top tier SPAA and tank when you play any ground game, so I would use those tanks to play GRB.
But, this game is trying to force me to play useless arcade games just to play GRB
Why have this in the game at all? All it does is bar new players to ground from playing the game mode.
Yes, I know that by next game, I will likely surpass this barrier. But, why even have this in the first place? Why bar players from playing the most played mode in the game?
…holy cow…a BT-5 at 12.7? Not a great idea buster, that is like being a Galers for fighting a gripen. 3BK18M is also pretty trashy for top tier and the free Russian vics are gonna get it.
Kizy I like you but stay away from top tier ground rb without line-up.
The reason why the game itself forces you to play arcade it’s because thinks you’re newbie to ground mode due to lacking service record thus it forces you to learn basic things about tanks.
If you think free vehicles will solve the problem. They will not, they are basically stock tanks that has no access to APFSDS,thermals or other modifications aside from mobility iirc so you will suffer even more.
Or they could do what would actually improve the experience and require people to bring at least 3 vehicles of the appropriate branch to the game mode they’re trying to play when there’s multiple spawns
I have a friend I tried to get into Warthunder. They have full stick and rudder setup and were excited but very, very green. They refused to use mouse for flying since they already invested.
Warthunder: Play air arcade.
… They got annoyed trying to fly at a severe disadvantage and haven’t come back since.
We got free spaas and tanks though. Though it’s looking like tanks is gonna be a pain since they’re stock.
Though at least with spas being stock doesn’t really matter, so you can just spawn spas and be fine
