Why do CAS players so vocally oppose any suggestions

Again moving goal posts. You made direct comparison which is fauly and I told you about it. SPAA was not mentioned at all nor friendly fighter cover.

But it does solve CAS issue. You obviously were not playing Advance game mode test. There were maybe 3 planes through whole game. Since CAS SP was really high and games were really balanced because players which got to spawn CAS were really careful with it due to really high spawn costs. CAS was still effective but it wasn’t spammed due to high SP.

The fact that your MGs on top of your tank can’t get up high enough to take something out, yet SPAA can, shows that at least 1 of your 16 teammates having SPAA out would take care of that…

But people saying they don’t work, or just die make less people spawn them.

Again moving goal posts. SPAA was not mentioned in initial comparrison. It was only JagdTiger, some US tanks and plane so SPAA is irrelevant to this discussion.

No MGs on the jagd…

Yes I know, thats why I said JagdTiger has very slim chance against plane (no SPAA mentioned) due to that detail.

And that’s why you have teammates who can spawn a multitude of other vehicles…

There’s no moving goalposts, just anti-cas not wanting any sort of points made about how closed they are in thier own mind…

No, it really doesn’t.

It doesn’t make SPAAG any more useful in their intended role, nor encourage use in their intended role. If anything, such a change like the Advance mode makes them totally worthless by removing their point of existence.

It doesn’t make revenge bombing any less obnoxious when it does occur.

It doesn’t give CAS any sort of healthier purpose in matches beyond being a half-baked anti-camping tool.

Raising SP costs only lowers the overall frequency of its usage to such a negligible level that it may as well not exist. Which creates an unofficial TO mode. I suppose there is no limit to how much folk like you wish to burn down to get said mode, is there?

Again, You don’t have anything to back up Your own words, not to mention claims about others.

Come back when You are ready for real discussion.

Because it is better to spawn air as it is more effective against the air.

Yes there is because you cannot make comparisson between JagdTiger, some US tanks and plane without even mentioning SPAA or fighter cover and later on speak about SPAA. Its moving goal posts by definition.

Wasting all those SP when you get shot down…

That really does work out well.

So a player dying in SPAA makes any difference?

It’s not, because you have a TEAM of 16 with you, and they can vary their vehicles…

I played said mode it it was exactly as I said. CAS was scarse as it was IRL and players were very careful with it due to high SP costs.

The fact that an SPAA costs 70, then 140 to spawn, compared to your 500+SP cost of your plane, it’s very much a different story.

Maybe your KDR fixation has made you blind to the facts…

And again, such a mode does not solve anything about CAS’s implementation. It only makes it so costly to spawn that it is almost never seen while actually fixing nothing.

Raising SP costs is merely the appearance of doing something, when it actually achieves nothing at all.

But we are talking about dealing with the air.

Air is much more effective against the air than SPAA and that is just a fact. You dying in an air unit or in spaa still means that You have failed in dealing with the air. SP costs doesn’t change the fact that You have still failed to do something with the air.

Its irrelevant. Player which posted said it was about vehicles he compared. So everything else is irrelevant as it was not mentioned in inital comparrison. You cannot add stuff later as it suits you.

You can spawn that plane, and go CAP, but thing is you dying and wasting that 500SP, when you could easily have spawned 3 SPAA makes the difference…

Nothing failing about it compared to failing to acknowledge the point as you usually do.

But it achieved its goal. CAS was scarse as it was IRL.
